I honestly haven't played this in three days and currently 2664 place.

 

Where did you start? I was 3 grand when I quit and I think today when I went to screenshot my deck it was over 6000.

 

Oke wanted top 1000 but iam at 1350 now.
gess i wont gonne make it becouse i dont want to spend all my cubes to it.
Lost now 400 baltecubes and 300 powercubes.
and need 1 more soundwave to complete mine second

Last minute update just in. Wonder what they've broken this time?

 

I was at 250ish when I put the game down on Friday. Haven't touched it since then. Picked it up to check where I would end up today when I got home from work about a half hour ago and was sitting at 1007. and dropping quickly. So I took a run through hard 10 and decided to throw a Chain at Soundwave to bring me back into tier 2. that chain brought me up to rank 672.

 

I'm done.

 

So a top 100 finish costs about 600EC, 150+BC and about $25.
Needless to say I no longer have enough EC to ever do this again.

Since I'll never put the money in needed to get a top 100 finish in a raid event, it looks like this is my peak.

All down hill from here.

 

Congrats. That's great! You'll get the energon recharges back pretty quickly in the next raid boss event.

 

It took me since TFL came out for IOS to get a total of 850EC. I'm now down to 200, so I'm not so sure it'll be soon. Because of what could be a crazy power creep, who knows what I'll be able to one-cube in the next event.

Also, the time required to spend 600 EC requires a week of vacation. I don't think I want to ever do it again.

Can some one who just barely got top 1000 let me know what it cost you to do it?

not wasting time looking at points below 1k cause the rewards are BS

 

There is power creep but it affects Tier 1 finishers a bit more slowly than it does everyone else after any particular episode. That means all the Soundwaves will be helpful for a bit.

 

Was number 1 rank one of the typical culprits?

 

47M, pretty much what I expected. Made it to 52M after chaining those last 2 SWs and ended at rank 403.

 

Phew! Glad that it's over. Soundwave doesn't even make my regular deck and neither will Nightbeat. Well, it is one of the easiest event and did manage to farm BC's throughout...

 

had i bought 5 more chains, it probably would have been 200 EC and 300 BC (maybe more if you count the rechargables) with a 14K deck

i finished out of T2 for the first time since Dinobots pt 2. I gave up trying for T2 on sunday when i knew i needed to buy 5 chains or so to maintain t2 and wasn't worth it for me
