Even knowing it finishes soon, I just can't be bothered to keep grinding away to try and catch that last Laserbeak.

 

so has anyone deleted this game yet... i have a horde of bc and ec and en saved up for something.... one day... i feel like a thousand bc is the number to shoot for....

 

I deleted it after day 3. Re-installed after we got our freebies, experienced the hell they had turned it into by tuning bosses...hung with it to get a Soundwave and Laserbeak...then uninstalled it after being reminded how much the net capture rate pisses me off.

Then realizing that my deck is no more special than anybody else's now that people are buying chains and catching multiple Soundwaves, I quit.

Will I come back for Combiners? Maybe. Though Erland's been doing such a great job with keeping the art thread up to date I may just pull from there. Because I get the feeling none of the combiner team cards we collected will be worth anything when it comes time for Combiners. Because that wouldn't be how Mobage works.

And then I know I'll just piss myself off over not being able to get a full team OR the combined form.

 

i agree, new ability, new cards. you can't possibly have old cards do new tricks

 

Why would people pay money to get old cards. No, put a new mustache on an old card and you get a new card. Change the stats a bit, put a new signature weapon in(like Optimus Prime T4 can't use Optimus Prime T3's weapon weapon, psshh), and you're good to go. Instead of two images to look at (trans-scanned), why not have four images to look at (evolved). Great idea... new card.

Also, is it just me or do episode medals tend to pull up items for cards that are being featured. For example, on three successive medal pulls (30 medals each time, thanks for the mini-base Mobage) I got a T3 Laserbeak weapon, a T3 Ravage weapon, and a T3 Soundwave weapon. Go figure. And I remember getting a bunch of Jetfire weapons (non-episode of course) last time. Jerks.

But why should it be that way? If the next event is in-fact the final three Combaticons as raiders, then we have TWO complete combiner teams as episode cards (Predacons and Combaticons). Up until Tantrum and Swindle came along...the argument in theory was we didn't have combiners because we didn't have the full team yet. But now we've got them and its driving us nuts because of Checkov's Gun.

Why shouldn't the combiner be related to a complete set of team cards? Because it's Mobage we KNOW that getting Predaking or Bruticus will require a second full team of "Combiner Cards" or whatever they end up calling them. So there's no point in spending money on the team NOW in Episode Version because you'll inevitably have to get them all again once the combiners are introduced.

Which is why I think Mobage is throwing all of these T4 Episode Combiner team cards at us lately. Constructicons, Combaticons, Aerialbots, Predacons...they're getting us to bit now thinking it'll play a part in getting the gestalt form when that won't be the case.

 

Hmmmm....so, back to back to back irrelevant WebExes today coupled with nothing better to do afforded me the time to crack ~650 Ep. weapon medals. Two T4's: Warpath's (ep) weapon and Jetfire's weapon 3. Is anyone else pulling either character or weapon cards from the last event?

Edit - 650 medals....7 at a time.

 

In all the medals I have pulled, I have still yet to get an event card during the event.

 

Although, I did just pull a T4 Galvatron Alt. It's a bummer it'll be a while, if ever, that I'll get the Robot mode.

 

Out of boredom I'm taking my alt account through the campaign, the 11K deck got slaughtered right after the first hard mission. Stage 10 is going to be ugly.

So how much more op are the trash mob group fights now?  

 

Had to use 15 cubes with an 11k deck to beat Soundwave in stage 10...
(and every single capture in the level was a fail)

I haven't pulled an event card from medals since FF...yep. Of course, this event I got bored really fast and haven't played since the first day. Save my nets I guess. :/

 

Finnaley, afther 4 days of grinding shockwave on hardmodes lvl 5, i now have the last 2 cards to buld 1  .

I was going for top 1000 but gess i give up and gohome with my soundwave  .

i got a Eject Evo card from one of my first medals pulls, and had i gotten a second one i might have bought 2 space bridges to complete him, but not at the cost of 3, no thanks.

 

pulling an evo eject in the medals is like not only a slap in the face, but a kick in the balls and an adda boy by mobage....

You got legit reasons to be negative from what you said in recent posts. How come you haven't deleted and moved on or at least taken a break for while? Aside for the forced break do to the quality product that gets released.
