Question, I attempted to order Impactor off the TRU website a few days ago, and got the 'Order Acknowledgement' email - since then i've heard nothing more.

While i'm not entirely unsurprised, as I am attempting overseas delivery of this item to here in NZ. A mate of mine had the same thing ordering FoC Soundwave, where no further email was ever sent by TRU yet his FoC Soundwave turned up anyway.

However I just looked and apparently Impactor is still in my cart? This likely to be some random second Impactor that's appeared in my cart, or has the order not processed correctly?

Edit: Having checked, I can see my CC has been charged, but on my TRU account it says I have no recent orders?

Of course, since I finally caved over the weekend and got one off eBay, they decide to put up SW for longer than six seconds...

 

Nice. The scalper price on eBay has plummeted too. Lots of BINs $200+ are going unsold. Several completed auctions recently were going for $160-170. After eBay and Paypal fees (about 15% typically), that'd mean $144 on the sale. If bought at full price, MP Soundwave with tax costs around $130 (price matched to the web if need be). That's a profit of not even $15. Hopefully the scalper market just died on this (at least through August while it's still coming out in stores).

Did anyone get any confirmation emails? I got 'Order Acknowledged' - not sure if that's confirmed or not.

FWIW, when I got one last mid-week, I got the acknowledgement immediately, about an hour or two later the confirmation, then the late evening of the day after the shipping information.

 

My order has been with the status "item located in stock" since friday, should I be worried?

 

No, give them two or three business days to ship before freaking out.

 

Ok I will not freak out about the order... However i will freak out about the condition of the Soundwave until it gets here.  

 

The toy will probably be fine. The box however...well, I'm just glad I don't give a shit about boxes, hah.
