You know, when people complain about Mobage not listening to us, I can't help but feel it's because they constantly get emails like yours. I think there's a difference between valid complaints (ie. bugs, gameplay) and just flat out bitching. I think your emails are more of the latter type. And the worst thing is, when other people send emails with valid complaints, Mobage will very likely mistake it for emails like yours, and subsequently disregard it automatically.

 

I caught my first (third) one on the first go round, but getting the last for the set is taking aaaaaaaaaaaaages. Going through for the sixth time this sitting, fingers crossed! Wanna get him caught and built so I can focus on getting that last Soundwave. May just work on scoring some free mobacoins so I can buy a single chain, probably be a lot less hassle.

 

I got to thinking last night about this. Seems Mobago is evil. Each of the 3 sound waves I have caught with a net have been the FIRST one of a new set. My first sound wave I had not actually decided to spend cash and get yet and the first one I beat I captured. Then I bought the 5 pack and caught 3. I then decided not to catch any more and use the extra 2 nets to back track and get ravage (that never happened). Then the very next sound wave I caught.
I then used my other 2 nets and the gift one to catch another 3 and make a 2nd one. The sound wave directly after that I caught again first try with a net.

This is 3 times first try capture with a net on sound wave when I have 0 evo 1 sound waves. Since then I have tried 25 or so times on Hard zone 10 with 0 luck.

Anyone else see a pattern here?

Making me think about buying another 5 pack.... and catching 3 more sound waves to make a 3rd Evo 4 (my strongest card by far) and using the last 2 to go after ravage... maybe even buying 2 more singles... and having a evo 4 ravage to go with my laserbeak... then again I don't know it's 'mtm' or evo4 max stats... what ever you want to call it... wondering if it is even any better than laser beak or not....

 

This is how I feel. I now have close to 430 BCs with a 12k+ deck and it just seems so pointless since everyone now will have decks full of Soundwaves.

This event has not only been horrible, it's also ruined the game. The only way to even fix the damage is to limit one character per team. But Mobage will never do that because the whales will always spend to have multiple x7/x10 cards.

 

i wouldnt worry about the whales getting multiple SWs. The next event they'll continue their ways and stacking their decks with the new 5x, 7x, 10x cards to win. All this will do for the T2 folks like myself is add a small amount of strength to continue our sniping/tagging ways.

How do you get free coins?

 

On iOS no way except someone pointed out a clever way if you use that emulator blue stacks, apparently you can get the droid offers for free coins on it and download the coin offer games through it to get some coins to use on it or something along the lines.

 

So I just passed 100 Million points aiming for my first ever top 100 finish. I have successfully captured a whopping 2 soundwaves total. (I've used some chains, I'm referring to using nets).

I lost track of how many attempts I've done, but I'm guessing around 110 to 140.

 

I applaud your attempts and a bit of craziness for doing so but good luck.

On the plus side, it's making me burn resources. Once I run out of energon and battle cubes it may break me of the addiction to the worthless game.

 

Completed my one and only evo Soundwave, that's enough for me! Now, one more evo Laserbeak and work on getting into the top 5,000 so I at least benefit from a complete episode Soundwave.

Totally this. They'll just blow more cash to stack their decks. Why they keep doing it is beyond me, must have money to burn.

What Dru said- I'm on Android so occasionally get free coin offers. They appear to have made them easier to get too- in that I haven't had to play any bootcamps/training sections to get the coins. They're just credited to my account as soon as I start the game, so I can un-install it and get back to the matter at hand.

It doesn't matter what the whales do. The issue is the T2 people having decks full of SWs means Mobage will power creep even more to compensate.

Yep, the game is broken now. I've come tier 1 once and tier 2 probably 6 times. I was able to capture 2 full SWs on the first few days and stopped playing. SW is the second strongest card in my deck behind my Jazz 5*.

If someone is fairly new and joined recently, spent say $60 for Energon Chains, which is a lot less than what most people spent over the course of multiple events. They have 10 Soundwaves more powerful than my deck and many others

 

Yep. Every complete Soundwave is one more week of T2 rewards closer to catching long time players.

 

Actually, I doubt anyone new would have the cards/deck power or resources to run through Hard without having to buy a ton of BCs. Your point is still valid but it would either need to be super whales or folks who have placed in a few events.

 

As if Mobage wasn't going to continue to power creep even without this event. I'll tell you what this event, and the loads and loads of Soundwaves floating around, has done. You thought getting Tier 2 rewards was a challenge. Look around now and you'll see a whole new swarm of people ready to compete for them. Tier 1 will still require the purchase of raid cards and battle cubes and whatever else there is to buy so this event changes little; maybe a top 100 player will substitute a Soundwave or two in for one of their Soldier positions.

This event just guaranteed Mobage a small spike in battle cube or space bridge sales because now if you want even Tier 2 rewards you're going to have to either save up a bunch of resources (they're already showing their hand by telling you that the amount of battle cubes you've stocked up in this episode will be required and more to compete otherwise they wouldn't have even given us the luxury of stockpiling them) or spring for the first few space bridge tiers. How comfortable are you really when you're at rank 650 and you know there are over 1000 other people who have multiple Soundwaves in their decks and are using them for Tier 2 finishes.

Mobage, if I could fire an energon net or two at you I would. But hell, I probably wouldn't catch you guys anyway.
