In general I have normally found meijer to be lacking in the toy area. Once in a blue moon they will surprise you. I used manage the toys at Hurstbourne many years ago and it was bad then
It wasn't until I reread my post when you quoted it that I realized my mistake. I meant to say the Reynolds Road Target. Target is usually pretty good, but that particular Target on that particular day was CRAPPY. Clearance BotShots and a few Beast Hunters dexlues. The only Generations were wave 1 stuff. The Legends 2-packs didn't even have a shelf tag.
Springhurst Target had a couple each of Beast Hunters Arcee and Knock Out. Prowl was, naturally, gone. Also managed to FINALLY find a Grimwing at Bashford Walmart.
I saw the stuff at Springhurst on friday night. I don't think that was wave that included Prowl so you did not miss it.
OK, it's August freaking 4th and Springhurst, StMatthews & Clarksville Targets still have empty clearance toy sections. Where's the big damn re-set? Target can join TRU in kissing my @ss. I'm quitting the "exclusive" TF game. Target, TRU not getting my money anymore. Unfortunately, collecting just isn't fun anymore.
Gut feeling is telling me to wait until Monday. Sunday feels like a bad time for a reset, would be less instore traffic on a Monday morning.
Oh, guys, as the saying goes, I'm not laughing at you, I'm laughing near you. That "August 4" really only refers to the week the reset is advised to take place. Depending on the scheduling and other priorities, the team that handles the resets might wait until mid-week or late-week before it happens and it will still be considered by the company to have happened "on time." Corporate really doesn't care about toys and the geeks that love them. But I do hope the anticipation I see here and elsewhere bodes well for the line's sales. It will of course be what Target looks at the next time Hasbro offers them an exclusive. I'll be at Springhurst in the morning so I'll let people know early afternoon-ish if the reset happened there.
Oloop target has a sharkticon megs but the weapon is missing Oloop TRU has restocked the starscream/ironhode constructobots, in the kreo section.
That Outerloop TRU is hilarious. They have these same 2 or three GDO scout Sandstorm figures on a peg in front of a ROTF keychain guy that's been on that peg since last year when I'd get out there looking for the GDO deluxe Wheelie. They're like "fuck you guys, you'll buy these or we'll never reset that peg again". lol I was bored so hit up that TRU and Target was disappointed on both counts.
Appreciate it. Tired of going to Targets everyday. Been to about 12 if them between Indiana and Kentucky.
was on my way through from Illinois to pa and Just got a MP Soundwave in Florence Ky at the Toys R Us on Connector Drive. There are more. get then while they are hot. Good Luck! they also had acid storm.
Interesting. I was there today around 2ish looking for new Joes and overheard a guy asking an employee about MP Soundwave. The employee with a scanner was like "oh they go fast, don't know when we'll get more in,etc." I'm not looking for one myself but employees that can't use a Telxon to locate their own posterior really irritate me... BTW, congrats on the find!
Okay, so here's the Target reset report... The reset has begun, but it's every aisle in the toy department. The Springhurst store got through about four or five aisles today, so if they hold to that speed, they'll get to the Transformers aisle on Wednesday or Thursday. However... The Target on Jefferson Blvd has reset their Transformers aisle! That's the one off Outer Loop near Jefferson Mall. So head there if you can't wait for Predacons Rising goodness.
^ Damn straight. They had alot of new Generations as well as about 4 Abominus sets. Taterx, you're not lying about that TRU, that peg is sad The slightly irritating part is there's a huge transfan that works there and he says he gets all his stuff from that TRU, but never see them put anything out.
I know who you are talking about. He's a good guy. I do agree the selection is quite awful. But I swear kmart is worst. Went by sunday and nothing was there but DOTM. figures.
Yeah wristband guy is pretty cool. I think he is/was a member here. Sideswipe something. Used to occasionally get lucky at Kmart, but not since all the DOTM stuff.
Welllll JMall Target still loaded with new stuff except for Generations Deluxes.. I WAS all loaded up with a handful of TF goodies until I noticed the first wave of 6" Star Wars Black looking up at me. Star Wars won. Targets everywhere will have TF's but who knows how hard it will be to nail down 6" SW Black figures
