I want to cry so badly. I was JUST at TS yesterday and was told that no one knew when they were gonna be in. Erghh, Anyone here get any inside info on if they'll be getting any more?
I was at TS when they opened. They had 30 out and were selling 2 per person. I went back later to see how it was going. I spoke to a floor manager. She said the initial wave lasted an hour. They had another wave in the back that they put out once the first wave went. In total they had about 140. When they fell below 20 units total, they switched to one per person. They were actively watching for regular collectors and were not letting them go through the line more than once. They have another shipment in the warehouse that should be released to the store tonight. If the shipment is released, they'll have more tomorrow morning. She noted that they can't be certain as today's wave was delayed by a day because of something in the warehouse. As always take with a grain of salt, but this is what was reported to me.
I got what i was told was the last one at Henrietta tru. They had 3 acid storms left. Soundwaves were limited to 1 per customer. I didnt check Greece tru.
Found 2 at Rego park 63rd drive in Queens, they are at 140 but they will price check if you ask. I took these for myself but as I went at 6Pm on a Friday I'm guessing that they will get more and that this store is not being staked out... Worth others checking out for the next deliveries.
I was a Times Square at about 6:30 this evening and picked up the last SW. But perhaps they put out more after me. I got the last one behind the counter.
Soundwave? As of 10AM Thursday, Greece had nine, along with four Acid Storms... ...and that was a short hunt - two complete sets at Henrietta Target! (took one of each)
They must have had a couple stashed away for regulars that were put out. They were turning people away around 3 when I was there.
Sucks. I was there earlier this afternoon (3:30ish) as well and the lady behind the counter told me they were all sold out. I hope what people are saying is true and they get more tomorrow, but again, I can't be sure they won't turn me away again and then "magically" have more in stock later in the day.
Just hit THE TS. Info was good! About 35 SWs remained when I left. As other people have stated, they'll do online price match as well. Go get em!
Yeah same at my ToysRus in the Hudson Valley, they tried to charge me the 138.99 but the guy behind the counter knew it was online for 119.99 he was getting ready to pull it up on his phone for me but i beat him to it. LOL I just wish I had remembered to bring the 15% off coupon I had from ToysRus Towers on FB.
I've just got back from TRU Middle Village. There were none on the floor so I asked the service desk and there are 1 box left that contain 2 SW. I've brought one and there should be one left at the service desk. They priced match web price too.
TRU in Yonkers has about a half dozen Masterpiece Soundwaves and Acid Storms out on the floor. Have at 'em, folks!
