Really not digging TRU on Dodge's new truck schedule. I was able to do Friday mornings no problem. Now with two trucks during the week I can't hit them up like I used to. I just want a Soundwave and Star Wars Black Series Darth Maul!
saw one Acid Storm at Toyrus at 144th and Center around 3 today...at least they have tags for him and Sound wave!! didn't see any for them at the one on Dodge
Well, it seems TRU on Dodge got in more Soundwaves this morning and someone came in and bought all of them. Really don't understand why the hell it's a limit of one online yet any asshole can go in store and buy them out as they come in.
^ this is the reason why I changed my mind about hunting MP SW. Trying to find him is worse than when MP Prime was released, and Acid Storm is even worse.
That's sucks. I know when I was there, the lady said that they had them on a shelf at the front of the store ( in the area to your right when you first walk in). Not sure exactly where, but be sure to check there as well. F***ing scalpers...
They're keeping them at Customer Service. There was an Acid Storm still up there last night when I picked up the Black Series figures they were holding for me. I asked if this is what they were doing for Soundwave and they said they were doing that for all Exclusives that they were receiving calls about. CB TRU also had 2 Acid Storms last night, on the bottom shelf of the regular TF section. Would have posted last night but my car broke down on me on the way home from CB. Holding off on Acid Storm for now personally. Still not really digging the color scheme. May have felt differently if I wasn't dropping $20 a pop on Star Wars figures yesterday.
Lincoln TRU has two more soundwaves and three acid storms. They were back in the transformer aisle. As of 1pm.
I found a MP Soundwave at TRU on 144th & Center today. I think it was the only one they had. They also had Blitzwing, Springer and Sandstorm. Has anyone seen any of the new Generations Legends figures with target master partners? I'm looking for OP, BB, SS and Megatron. I have yet to see them anywhere on my hunts. Also just wanted to know, aside from MP SW and probably Metroplex, is there anything in particular everyone is looking for?
Just saw the Legends packs at Target out on 168th & Maple. They had one of each: Prime, Bee, Megs and Screamer. Was thinking about picking up SS to go with my Seekers collection but didn't dig it once I had it in hand. Also saw that all Targets seem to have the Generations comics packs. Only saw one Trailbreaker, though, at that same Target on Maple. But I hit three Targets today and they all had OP and Bee. LOTS of Bee's. Saw one Megatron at the 125th & K location. Snagged Soundwave from OakView TRU. Glad to not have to worry about that anymore. They also had an Acid Storm on the shelf. Thinking he's gonna be shelf warming like Thundercracker was within a week or two. Also, don't know if anyone is looking for them, but the calendar, books, toys, etc. store at Westroads on the upper level (beginning of the hallway leading down to Von Maur) has the Series 2 Kreon Microchangers. Had about ten packs. May have had more in back. Just snagged an Acid Storm for myself.
Thank you to the guy I saw at the 144th location who said Council Bluffs had Soundwave in stock. We each got one around 4PM at Council Bluffs. A TRU employee said they still had two left in back. 144th had three Acid Storms on the floor.
Walked into Oakview TRU @ 3 p.m. yesterday & immediately saw another collector w/MP Soundwave in his hands. Walked over to the TF section & snagged the last one off the shelf. There was also 3 Acid Storms on the shelf. Found Legends Optimus & Bumblebee @ the Maple Super Walmart on clearance for $7 each. Grabbed the only Generations Trailbreaker & 1 Orion Pax @ Greatland Target on Maple. Left 2 Bumblebees & 2 Sandstorms behind. The 2nd Target on Maple had 2 Megatrons, 2 Trailbreakers, 2 Orion Pax's, & 2 Bumblebees. Someone must have beat me to Legends Megatron & Starscream. Again, I left 2 Sandstorms. I left Generations Megatron & Sandstorm for now. I'm not in love w/Megatron's design & even though he looks cool, I have no attachment to Sandstorm. I may change my mind once they hit my hometown Target. I'm pretty happy w/my toy run. Glad I made the trip for Soundwave. After coming up empty @ the Dodge TRU, I was worried I either missed out or I was going to have to drive to Council Bluffs.
Two acid storms at Lincoln TRU, Generations Bumblebee and Trailcutter and one Generations Sandstorm were there too.
Talked to TRU employees yesterday at Oakview and Dodge locations and both said that for MP Soundwave they had none and were not getting anymore at all. If anyone sees one will you shoot me a PM? Thanks
Anyone in Lincoln spot anything noteworthy lately? I'll be in town Saturday night for the game. Planning on hitting TRU Sunday morning before we head home.
just saw at least 2 MP soundwaves at the TRU on Dodge at customer service (so much for them not getting any more in!) call and have them hold one for you if you are in dire need also had the Platinum Ultra Magnus, wave 2 of the smaller black series star wars figs and a few other odds and ends skyquake, etc
I noticed a few people might still be looking for a MP Soundwave. I have the Takara version but bought another Hasbro one just to get Rumble. I opened it carefully and took out Rumble, but Soundwave and all the other cassettes have never been touched or transformed. I wanted to check here to see if anyone wanted to buy it from me before I put it up on eBay. Selling it for cheaper than what I paid for it, which is prob better than most eBay prices. Shoot me a message or post here if anyone is interested.
