Just received SDCC Metroplex and Shockwave's Lab! Ho Lee Cu Rap is Plex huge. My wife was making her (BI) face while I was tearing open the box with a huge cheese-eating grin across my face, lol. The outer box alone was enormous but the inside had plenty of brown packing paper, so the toy packaging itself for both boxes came out alright. Time to dig in and free the Plex!
got my shockwave lab set, I only wanted shockwave and have no real need for the box or the lab or the clear predaking, I may flip it
Could someone who ordered Metroplex on its own please provide me with the dimensions of the shipping box used by HTS? I'll be sending my Metroplex to a freight forwarding company so I can use those measurements to get an estimate of the shipping cost. Thanks!
FYI, if you register on FedEx.com with your name and address that you used for shipping for HTS, you might actually be able to see whether they've sent your package to you BEFORE the shipping status is updated on their website! I just created an account and it has another package for me on there with a tracking number from HTS that was scanned at 5:30PM today, but my status on HTS still says Not Shipped. It'll probably be updated on their site in the next couple hours if the last few nights are any indication.
My Shockwave's Lab came yesterday afternoon. I ordered this guy when he dropped last Wednesday. I received an order confirmation right after my purchase. Took a full week but he showed up in a pretty large sized box. Not much to protect it aside from a few sheets of brown packing paper, but luckily it was unscathed and in pristine condition. I know this probably won't be of much help to those still waiting --but it's somewhat of a good sign that they are showing up at people's doorsteps
mine had the label created on Wednesday...and it's still sitting in CA. No pick up scan or anything. Supposed to be delivered on Saturday. probably not happening.
HTS is all over the place with the shipping on most of their SDCC products. It seems anyone who ordered Shockwave got him already, and some people have received 'Plex, but everything else seems to be collecting dust somewhere and leaving you guys who have paid for these products hanging
I'm getting my two Shockwaves tomorrow (or later today, I guess). Also getting my monthly comic book shipment. FedEx is going to love me. And I'm going to love them!
Mine arrived this morning. Solid box, but little-to-packing. Just a few strips of packaging paper. Box looks pretty good, although it seems the law is the tape Hasbro's production company used to seal the box. Circular tape, but really smaller-sized ones, barely holding any of the flaps down and most lost their stickiness. For those who want this mint... not going to happen. However, for those who don't want to worry about super-adhesive tape in order to peek inside, this is for you and me, because I want to SEE the big boy!!!
I'm waiting on FedEx to bring my SDCC Metroplex now. If he comes in near mint condition I'll be happy.
I'm guessing if FedEx doesn't get here before noon, I'll be safe till 1pm. Guessing that's when they take lunch.
