Maybe for the boys in Asia (myself including), it would make more sense to settle for ACG version instead of SDCC. The difference between these 2 is negligible...

    Well at least to me.

Plus international shipping for SDCC version's a definite killer. I can easily remember how much the folks whom were peddling SDCC Bruticus were asking for previously.

I love the SDCC version. I'm a huge fan of chrome, and the chrome on this guy really makes him pop. Love the extra gun as well, as it is a better homage to the G1 version with the dual cannons. I also love the decoys. Metro is huge, and looks terrific. Very much worth it in my mind, I was able to get him at the con, without shipping, for $162. But he was heavy as hell and almost took my arms off while I carried him and my other stuff to the car.

    It's seriously great.

I know right? We were parked at the hyatt and i lugged it all over there (with thee GIJoe set which was really heavy for the box size.) Getting this guy onto the airplane ended up being pretty funny, good thing the staff in San Diego were pretty good sports about the whole thing...

I am not getting that version of him but I have the Hasbro version coming and I'm pretty excited to get this. Just need to make room to put him somewhere

Got my SDCC version in today from HTS. This thing is awesome!! Though I will admit that If I didn't get one during the HTS rush on Wednesday, I would have settled for the standard version and had no complaints. Additionally, I must say that after having it in hand/in person, I really like the chrome accents. This figure, regardless of version, is very striking indeed. It's going to look great with my generations/classics/universe Autobots.

From where I am, a local toy/specialty shop has him displayed in the shop for the last 3-4 months. :D

Just got my own acg version of this big guy....simply awesome!!!!!!
Apart from the mini plastic figures, it is same as the sdcc version, even the instruction sheet got the sdcc logo on it

Gotta say this guy shines only when you really get your hands on him, photo simply can't capture its awesomeness!!!

Just asking...anyone knows how to keep the visor up anytime?

Can you buy all the members from there? It'd be hilariously annoying to find out that all this time the Uranos members were complete, but only now TFC decided to ship these guys :lol

He has this "Not For Sale" tag stuck onto him so I think it's an early sample...

I know the shop has some connections with mainland China so they often get their stuffs alot faster than general public.

My opinions on the SDCC version's differences:
    - The Decoy-esque figures are well-sculpted, but not really appealing to me, since the Legends-class two-packs will be suitable companion toys to my "basic" version of the Titan
    - The metallized face and thighs are kind of cool looking, if to at least make it further homage the original toy, and I guess the metallic stickers are an okay touch
    - That box and its artwork look really nice, although it would probably be difficult to find a good spot for it
    - I originally thought a second rifle would get in the way of the toy's look, but I like that both can be placed on the city and vehicle modes (and symmetrically on the latter)

It's probably been asked already, but: Can both rifles be stored on Metroplex's robot mode? I'm not sure why exactly, but I'm sort of iffy on big TF figures that always have a gun in hand.

I gotta pull the trigger on the SDCC version one of these days. I think the metallic hips and face make him look so much more bad ass. CHROME!

I gave up my regular version after seeing TakaTom's. Because that is closer to what I was expecting...

Then again, I gave up my TakaTom's pieces after seeing both SDCC & ACG! :lol

Now I'm just waiting for the ACG stocks to come in. (They're in transition from HK)

Although it still is a kick ass figure I just don't prefer the chrome. Maybe on the thighs and stuff is ok but not the face. It just looks like it makes things too reflective/shiny and takes away something... like seeing more reflection then the actual details or something.

I prefer the look of the Retail version because of this.

I think painting it Silver instead of chrome would have been better to bring out the details and not let it be too reflective/shiny.
