Hello, I know most people on this forum do not really do things like this, however I feel maybe someone here might be able to help. I have not been on this forum in a long while, however I recently was planning on having something made and was hoping maybe someone here could point me in the right direction. I am trying to get a clear cam gear cover for my car made. Im hoping to get it made out of a thickish clear plastic that wont melt under light heat. It will not be exposed to extreme temperatures and will also have an insulator on it so it shouldn't get too hot, however it has to be able to withstand at least some heat. The question is, is there anywhere or anyone who can make this for me? I have the original item that can be used as a cast and can send it to the person or place that will do it, but I personally do not know how to or who could make a clear plastic cast of it. In KC. There is a shop called regal plastics. They work in acrylic plastic. You may look into a shop like that in your area.
