Where's his face? All I see is a big red light bulb!

Kind of reminds me of Rudolph the Red nosed raindeer only this doesn't have a nose!

I'll get him just because he's a mustang, but other than that he still looks rather crappy.

 

I'm not prepared to say it's as bad as Armada, but clearly there is a different design philosophy from Classics. The vehicles seem to be the priority, so they worked the robots around that.

Wow! Great figure! Easily my favorite from the movie so far.

I like his bot mode, and love his car mode.

The only thing bad about him is Frenzy.

brawl is better than this guy, bumblebee too. just a nice car mode doesn't do it for me , sorry.

btw are you guys really sure that we're going to have several versions of the same character? the different price points could be just another characters like OP or megs. and let's not forget that there's the possibility of toys made from the human characters, and maybe a few military vehicles for them too.

Can we get a shot of the hands? I want to get an idea of them and see how the arms are exactly, because they're what's ruining him for me.

 

Eh.... The toy is far better than I imagined the crappy Bay designs being but... eh. I feel as excited about that as most Cybertrons. I'd leave it at the store.

 

And then mutilated the heads, making humanoid robots look like insects. I'll leave these toys alone, giving my wallet some much needed re-coop time.

If you look closely, you'll see fingers sculpted in. I don't understand the point of the bottom split, because it all it does is impede on the movement of the thumb.

 

Car mode: GREAT.
Robot mode: HIDEOUS.

Overall so far, while not the the best TF figures ever, I think these movie toys are a huge improvment on the crappy movie designs. I guess you CAN shine a turd!

I think he's quite nice, even in robot mode. A bit fruity, but certainly not a disaster, especially when you consider the amount of trouble the designers must be having emulating the movie designs. Vehicle mode is awesome.

That photo makes him look like he's made out of sparkly plastic. Is he?

 

it's alright. nothing spectacular. A so so figure. Really like the alt mode though.
