Usually Optimus Prime Kills Megatron.....

Does anyone think It was very different For Bumblebee To kill Megatron.....

It was indeed very different. I did not see it coming at all (Kind of expected Predaking or Optimus managing to turn the tables)

But I liked it. Certainly a surprise for me, and certainly one for Megs himself; didn't even fully turn around before he got it right through the spark

At any rate yes it was very different for Megatron to get taken down by Bumblebee instead of Optimus.

 

I was cool with it, especially since the bot that killed him appeared to be dead.

 

What bugged me is that the whole 'invincible Bumblebee' trope carries over from the movieverse. Bumblebee got too many kills in that continuity and considering having one kill in Prime is something noteworthy, and that Bumblebee pretty much killed Skyquake as well...

... well, you see where I'm going with this.

It would've been amazing if Ratchet had killed Megatron.

 

I don't really know how I feel about it.
It was something that was never done before,
but you can almost feel Hasbro pleasuring themselves
with Bumblebee killing Megatron.

 

People that spoil things should be severely punished.

 

I expected Smokescreen to kill him.

 

There was clearly another killer on the grassy knoll.

Suddenly, out of nowhere, Ironhide helped Bumblebee out of the Cybermatter while Jazz threw him the Star Saber. They helped push the sword into Megatron, then space-bridged away as the camera panned over to Bumblebee.

It's the only explanation.

 

The only thing I didn't like is Megatron essentially getting beat down by Optimus, regardless of Prime's upgrades... Both leaders should have still been on equal footing.

 

I'm indifferent towards BumbleBee. When he died, I could hear the cheers across the globe, just as I could hear the jeers when he came back.


How the hell did he get so popular anyway? In the G1 series, I don't recall him being that big of a deal. Are some weirdo fanboys to blame here?

 

I don't understand why Bee- bot was so sensitive about his disabality to speak. Megatron could tear out his eyes, which would be much worse.
The guy, surely, cannot set the priorities.

 

Did anyone else notice how...Disappointed/sad Optimus was when Megatron was falling down to Earth?

All the films that he was in, that is why. But now that he can speak made me like him a lot more than I did, like I did with the Animated 'Bee.

 

Yeah. At the end of the day they were once best friends as close as brothers. I think that while Prime realized it had to be done and even tried to do it multiple times, actually seeing his old friend's body slumping over and falling down to Earth effected him.

 

Most badass bumblebee ever!!!

 

That's only for the movie forum. And I actually think that "keep it out of the title" rule needs to be deleted. It was used because it was like 3 months after DOTM came out and people were still putting "(spoilers!)" in the title.
