Rated it as excellent. Despite what flaws, the show did it's job and did it well.

I rated it 10/10 because Prime is 3nd best Transformers series ever next to Animated and Beast Wars.

Not going to lie, the second season was almost enough to turn me off of the show and I went into the third season as a pretty big skeptics and was prepared to laugh my way home.

And yet, the third season redeemed it... in my eyes, anyway. It saved the entire series for me and I'm sad to see it go (but, I accept it's passing and will remember the first season, bits and pieces of the second season, and the kick aft third season with a loving fondness). I'm eager to see the movie, though I half fear it's just going to flounder and Hasbro will have given up on Prime all together.

Sorry, I'm a skeptic at heart. I guess I rather keep my expectations low and be pleasantly surprised, which is how I went into the third season and holy dancing monkey did I love this season.

I voted 3 for Okay. There's plenty to hate about Prime, and while the bad does outweigh the good for me, it's only by a small margin, so I can still enjoy it.

The first season was a bit slow, and I didn't like how it had five episodes of over-arching plot at the beginning, four episodes of over-arching plot at the end, and eighteen episodes of filler in between where nothing much is accomplished and it's not clear what direction they're going in. The second season was just flat-out bad, with a boring macguffin hunt and potentially game-changing story elements that are dropped within one or two episodes of their introduction. Beast Hunters started off very slow, it amazes me how much time they waste on macguffins in a season half the length of the other two, and it annoys me how there isn't actually any Beast Hunting. Fossil hunting yes but not actual Beast Hunting. That being said, the last four episodes are pure gold, everything I hoped would happen did, everyone I hoped wouldn't be killed off wasn't, and it ends on a high with Cybertron being revived.

My favourite characters are Agent Fowler, Ratchet, Bulkhead, Ultra Magnus, Megatron, Starscream, Soundwave and Breakdown, while my least favourite are Arcee, Optimus, Airachnid, Miko and Dreadwing. I would have liked to see more characters such as Jazz, Ironhide and the Constructicons, but I can understand why there weren't more.

Overall I didn't like Prime as much as Beast Wars, Animated or the 2007 movie, but there's still a lot of things I like, so it's by no means an Energon-style unforgivably terrible abomination.

3.5-4 overall an enjoyable series. Season 2 knocks it down a bit. Plus the lack of a combiner sucks too. We haven't had a cool combiner since the Unicron trilogy.

Part of me wanted to say okay because of the bits that dragged the show down. Teasing great potential only to get timid and back down. Pretty boring Autobots scrapping loads of generic troopers week after week. Too many episodes that felt like they were just padding out the series instead of getting somewhere. Not being able to afford more than a handful of Transformers. And by all that is geeky the annoyance of beeping Bumblebee.

But I decided to go with pretty good. When we got the Decepticon character they were great and they would steal the show. When it was Decepticon character vs Autobot we got some really great battles. Standout characters like Ratchet and Knock Out. Soundwave showing you don't always need brute force to win sometimes a quick mind is one hell of a weapon.

It wasn't everything the series was hyped up to be but overall I'm pretty happy with the show.

It surpassed both G1 AND Bay's movies, so a solid ONE MILLION PLUS ONE out of ten!

    Hahaha, no.

I give it a 2. I liked a handful of characters (Starscream, Ratchet, Knock Out, and Fowler), but that's kind of it. Way too much damn wasted potential, I don't feel like I really know any of the characters, so much terrible dialogue, lack of direction, villain decay, 2 clip episodes, using the same cliffhanger TWICE, often times horridly predictable, a complete waste of the "Beast Hunters" rebranding, and there was this annoying trend where an episode could be entirely skipable except for some last minute event or revelation.

There's such a wide gap between Pretty Good and Excellent. I think it's somewhere inbetween. It is a really fine show, but I have issues with the way the characters were handled.

Excellent! As much as I join the nit-pickers at times, overall this was a wonderful show! I hope Hasbro can keep it up. And can't wait for Season 3 to come out in a box set. :)

I guess this may be biased, but it's the only show I saw all the way through. I loved the first two seasons of Animated, but then I moved over seas, and wasn't able to finish it until later through less than legal means.

I'm giving it Pretty Good. The third best TF series ever (Below Beast Wars and Animated, higher than the UT and Beast Machines). I would've put something between pretty good and excellent, but I didn't make the thread, so it's not my choice.

    It was okay.

I wanted to love this show a lot, but I guess we were meant to be 'just friends'. It was okay. No more and no less. Prime was not a standout show one way or the other. It was not the best TF by a long shot, it was not the worst TF by a long shot. And like any show--ANY show--it had its flaws and high points both. It was just...there. It feels to me like the franchise-sized equivalent of a filler episode. A fun filler episode, but still a filler episode.

I probably won't do much rewatching, but I won't hiss and recoil like a vampire exposed to holy water when it comes up in conversation either.

It had it's ups and downs. Some things could have been handled better. Writing ranged from "excellent" to "okay." But, looking back over the series, I liked it. It wasn't perfect, but no series is. Is it high-quality writing? Sometimes it was, sometimes it wasn't. It's a mixed bag that got mixed reactions--some declare it the worst Transformers series ever, and others say that it's the best. It all comes down to personal opinion.

I must say that I've enjoyed this series from beginning to end, all of high points and even it's many low points. A pretty good series, in my opinion.

I give a 4, Good but it does have it's flaws, mostly in season 2 with all it's fetch quest and the disappointment that was M.E.C.H.

I'm giving it a 3... and that's mostly for EXCELLENT animation, and Frank Welker and Peter Cullen. Seriously, Frank showed that Bay picking Hugo Weaving was just a personal choice and had nothing to do with any sort of lost abilities... He gave Megatron the perfect voice, and nice blend of G1 with more range and true power. Peter Cullen... he worked with crappy dialogue, and did a very good job. Seriously, movie Optimus lines were more interesting than what he did on Prime. The animation is gorgeous... I was hating on it at first but this is one awesome show to watch. Aside from Starscream, I loved damn near every character model to death.

The show had some great touches... Wheeljack being the guy that specializes in blowing stuff up is a funny in joke for us G1 fans, Bulkhead being back was awesome, Knockout was great (he was very much like Starscream, more of the vain aspect of him anyway). I feel the writers failed to make the story epic, mainly due to villain weakness. The Cons are a bumbling and stupid force, aside from Megatron and Shockwave. Starscream and SOundwave had moments, but their characters are mostly wasted. I did enjoy Starscream realizing his place and truly taking to it, but I miss the arrogance and oneuppance of Animated Starscream. Hell Animated was perfect in it's balance of villain vs hero strength and character. Autobots AND Decepticons need to be a force to be reckoned with. You wonder how characters survive so long without being able to equal their rivals, and seeing simple things like Starscream being unable to best Optimus Prime in the air were annoying. Megatron avoided using the Dark Saber... why would a power hungry egotist like Megatron use any less than his strongest weapons? I would have enjoyed seeing Megatron simply make the same decision as Prime did... I have to kill Optimus Prime. He seemed undedicated to that cause. Still, he was one of the better Megatron's... really loved his voicing and character arc overall, save that he deserved to end the series on a much better note.

If Predacons Rising is AWESOME, expect my score to be 3.5. Simply can't give a great score to a show with weak antagonists.
