One more, from phone camera. I swung up the side windows, split the hood as far as it will allow, and I spun the shins around so it shows the back windows. It looks better that way imo.

 

Wow these all suck.

 

I don't know about the legs swung around, but the side windows look right swung up, compared to that movie render we got a few weeks back.

 

After seeing these pic's of Barricade I'm likeing his bot mode more 

 

Could we get a shot of his hands? I'd love to see what those actually look like.

Why are the front tires wider than the back ones? That looks silly.

 

The alt mode's really nice; reminds me of RoboCop actually.
The robot mode's pretty cool - can't help thinking of G2 Clench or BW Sea Clamp. Pity about the lack of articulation in the arms and head, but is that a gear mechanism I see in the chest? Is that for this throwing action?

 

That would be freaking sweet, I'd pose him throwin BB, or about to Piledrive him.

Also, Im sure weve seen a pic of Barricade with Robot mode arms transformed differently, they were longer, skinnier and had the hand unobstructed by that panel.

Also, this guys chest opens and a smaller robot (Frenzy) pops out, this guy would be so good as Soundwave. Digibash anyone?

Wow, that's pretty average.  

 

No no, I just meant he has huge arms that seem sculpted like you grab another figure and throw him. However there is, in a tiny sort of way, a mechanism where when you pull down the front guard, the little robot will slide out a little.

I forgot to mention his silly arm extension thing. It's pretty limp, so I think all it's good for is knocking down another figure.

 

My favorite of what we've seen so far - for a $10 toy, that's a pretty good level of detailing in Alt mode.


Yes, the robot mode is ugly - but it's a good ugly.

 

I'm torn, he looks great, but the lack of articulation bugs me, grrrrr.

 

Still love the Alt Mode, so-so on the robot. I hope there's a higher price point version of him (a pretty safe bet).
