That one NAIL guard kinda (not really) looks like Vamp the Go-Bot.

I want to see Dirge again.

These iBooks previews are always two weeks in advance. Having one for RiD the week before MTMTE is out isn't exactly new. =/

In the immortal words of Frank Lapidus, "Weirdest damn funeral I've ever been to..."

Next week for sure. Then RiD the week after.

Yes! Yes! Yes! I was hoping for a scene like this! Imagined Metalhawks body on pedestal and everything and Starscream speaking in some form of apology... but I knew better then hope too much because it's Starscream. Who knows how much he actually feels? But now we see this. Oh yes happy day. Love that extra character depth. Barber writes the best RID Starscream. Ooo! I want this issue out so bad.

Wondering if it's art error, or just Starscream not being prepared to mess with Blurr.

:2c: Starscream the rat king. Whether its the first appearance of RatTrap or not, that rodent on next to Screamer fits his ways and his type of rule. This should be a great twist for the slower story arc of RID. If Metalhawk had been more of a warrior than a pacifist he would have known better than to make the con ultimate opportunist his friend.:thumbs2: :popcorn

It might be an error. Unless we get a full page preview we won't know for sure. I feel this is massive setup for a great fall. I guess Metalhawk will get the full regalia of a funeral.

I hope not, that's boring (plus Screamer already had one of those in the ongoing).

No, what'd be better is if he turns out to actually be a good peacetime leader, and he can get his people together and defend them from whatever Shockwave's up to. For the most part, Starscream's not dumb or incompetent, despite Costa's portrayal of him, and I honestly think the way he's being set up, he can get away with killing Metalhawk.

All honesty I get the feeling whatever rule Starscream is going be taken away. I think the grand scheme Shockwave will have altering reality effect so it becomes moot. What could have been? I think that what is Dark Cybertron and the ores are about. Which makes it more tragic where Starscream has his chance to rule and only taking way reality warping plan that will change the universe forever. Like Shockwave ruling a world where the dominant power is the Decepticons and the Autobots are the rebels.

If such a thing happens, I really doubt it'll be permanent. Barber and Roberts aren't just going to go "welp, time to throw away all of the continuity now!"

Nope not permanent but enough to mess up Starscream rule forever. It something that happen in the X-men where Legion murder Charles Xavier and the reality is all messed up. It was about ten titles though.

That was Age of Apocalypse. And I really don't see how that would mess up Starscream's rule "forever."

But can he keep the space bridges running on time? How does he plan on stopping all those illegal aliens from Nebulos coming in and taking Cybertronian jobs?

It depends how the events led up to it and the writing. If Prowl didn't combine with Constructicons...it matter how much of the events will be restarted. Or Metalhawk wasn't murdered....it almost event prior to where Starscream was able to become the leader. I don't believe Starscream will be allow to remain leader of the Neutrals. I don't think it one event or someone will just take it away but series of events that will be spell disaster. It involves the dead Universe somehow.

It will come down to an ass pull moment plus WTF when Starscream reign will end.
