Maybe a Superman/Batman Beyond movie would be a good way to leave the existing Batman Trilogy to rest and movie forward.

Doubt it'll happen but who knows.

They're not likely to set the JL movie/ the DC Movieverse far enough in the future to work w/ Terry, & from what I understand, Man of Steel was more or less set in the present (yes, I understand that Supes not aging would mean it doesn't matter).

It would be a good idea to differentiate the Marvel Movieverse from the DC Movieverse, but modern times are in for hero movies right now. Plus, Hollywood's idea of a good idea is to remake EVERYTHING :banghead: , so we can't expect them to do anything that makes sense. We're lucky they're even approaching the DC Movieverse logically.

unfortunately all I can really say is meh, loudly and vociferously. I really am not happy they are just ignoring the Nolan batman films and I think they are losing a serious oppertuinitiy to use them as a springboard...

I'm not interested in a reboot of Batman anymore than I was interested in a reboot of Spiderman..

I think if they don't do stand-alone Batmans, it could work. If they want Batman movies, have him team up w/ individual Justice Leaguers, like we see him do so often w/ Supes (or go the Beyond route).

& Spidey is partially responsible for me bolding "everything".

I'm very happy they're ignoring Nolan's Dark Knight Trilogy. They were good films for what they were: Batman vs. the Mob, but they don't fit at all into a world where there is a Kryptonian invasion, Amazon warriors, and a Green Lantern Corps. Besides, I'm absolutely sick of Bale's guttural Bat-voice.

I'd really love it if the new Bat suit is closer to what we saw in the Arkham games than what we got with Nolan.

Excited. Still love the Nolan trilogy though.

Agreed. They're some really good movies but it's time for someone new to don the cape and cowl.

Agreed on all counts. I would love a Bat-suit that looked a like the Arkham suits (in black and grey), but I'd also like to see the cowl have the (permanent) white eye-lenses, for once.

I still love TDK, but the story of Nolan's Batman has ended, and neither he nor Bale are interested in returning to that world. All for the better, as that Batman wouldn't pair well with MOS Superman imo.

    Hype meter = zero.

I hated MOS (not because it's not MUH DONNER I don't like those movies either, but because it's a bad movie on it's own right) so I have no interest in seeing anything in that universe with that Superman even if they shove Batman into the mix.

As far as concerned the only two movies I'll be watching from Marvel and DC in the forseable future are Gardians of the Galaxy and Ant-man.

So let me get this straight: instead of making a "Justice League" movie they are showing the same DC characters they show all the time but together this time? Ugh...sorry, I know I should be excited but they are Superman and Batman AGAIN just together. :(  Give other heroes a chance. :(

People who say 'meh' to this have no idea.

Superman & Batman, the two most iconic superheroes of all time, together for the first time in live action, during a time when comic book movies are in their prime.

This is going to be a really huge deal.

Yeah, I don't know anything about this guy, but based on that Spartacus promo-pic, I can sort of see it...

And I'm not interested. So i say Meh to it. Doesn't matter if it sells more tickets than free tits & beer would.. I still say meh to it because i'm not happy with it. That's my right as a consumer.

A World's Finest movie would be a safe bet before going all out with a Justice League movie. They're definitely going to have to consider a Wonder Woman movie before WB even thinks about a Justice League movie. Or do what the JL Cartoon did and just bring her in right then and there. Lex Luthor and the Joker would be the ideal villains but I'm okay with anyone else that requires Superman and Batman having to work together.

As for the costumes, the Injustice designs look like movie quality. An all black Arkham batsuit would be really cool too.

Amm...I HAVE idea. I know its important: Batman AND Superman. But...again? Seriously, we had Batman and Superman movies over the past 20 years now. Green Lantern wasnt good, we all know that. But was a bad idea to give him another chance? Spiderman 3 wasnt so good either and the reboot was awesome. I am not saying they should reboot the Green Lantern movie but they could do a second movie and put some heart in it this time. Or just add him in the Justice LEague movie.
Like I said: I want to see other heroes besides Superman and Batman.

Other than some of the text needing some work (the "The Beginning of a Bigger Universe" bit is really hard to read), that's not too bad. Kinda makes me want to see what I could come-up with. I make the occasional background, but it's been a while since I've made a fan poster.

Zack Snyder Meeting With Frank Miller To Discuss BATMAN/SUPERMAN Movie

Independent reports that Miller will be meeting with Snyder soon to discuss the project, and a source of the author tells the site, "Frank had no idea the announcement in San Diego was going to happen so it did come as a surprise. He’s going to be meeting up with Zack in the next few days to go over the plans for the Superman film so things should be clearer after that."
