Did you guys who's have shipped already get the standard shipping?

Around 5:36 according to the acknowledgement email I received, so definitely first batch, but there were some orders put on hold from that batch because they didn't have enough, according to them.

Same as you. I'm hoping it ships.

And as for the $70.00 price tag? Bullshit. I'll believe it when I see it. They shouldn't tease us with such things. If it comes out at $70.00 once the initial SDCC push is over, I'm going to be so damned pissed. I think we should all raise a ruckus at that point. (Let me make that clear: IF. So I don't want to hear anyone bitching at me.)

I'm glad we're getting a retailer to bring us Masterpieces, I am, but this is one of the silliest setups I've ever seen. Stupid Walmart could've done this better. Or even Target.

 

Why does everyone have to ask about shipping? If you read all of the posts from about 450 and on you will see that TRU will ship the toy. TRU is working on shipping them out. They seem to be doing a good job so far considering that last year when I ordered MP-10 it took a whole 24 hours before the status changed. I wasn't even worried about it. Guarantee the guys on here know less about your item shipping than anyone. I'm just still upset about not getting a order in for Soundwave.

That post about suggested retail made sense at $69.99. If you think about it, there really isn't any more work going into this toy compared to any other Masterpiece out there. That just shows you how close it came to cost per unit compared to Acid Storm, and then the TRU mark-up

 

Ok I need to know... is there anyone here that got in the 2nd time it was listed and has theirs listed as "located in warehouse".

Because I am going to end up calling their CS and seeing why in the hell mine is backordered. :S

Also is anyone else's order on back-order? I have a feeling its a freaking glitch. -_-

 

Wow, damn, Soundwave is scheduled to be here tomorrow. Well, alright.

 

I think many would agree that many people still won't after it's released again. I only saw MP OP once on shelves here in San Diego.

 

Um, I never saw MP-OP on shelves at any point in Salt Lake City. I don't know of anyone that ever did, I thought I got lucky by ordering him online

 

Mine is on backordered too...from the first batch. But there is also a hold on my card. It'll probably drop off but annoying nonetheless

On the bright side, a few people stated a few pages back they had their TRU tell them they was told to expect some soundwaves to trickle in as soon as the 1st week of august. So maybe they will finish filling the sdcc orders then.  

 

Oh, gotcha. I kept thinking I was in the 2nd batch, but it appears I was in the 1st batch (@0600). When I called regarding my paypal snafu, I was told that I was good to go and my item is being processed to ship, so I think we'll be okay.

 

So, honestly, looking at everything that has gone on today, I really, really think TRU is trying to clean up their act.

MP-10 was a mess. I still don't like it...

This time, it almost went perfectly. EBay was a mistake, but it was cleared up the best way they could. In hindsight, I let my irritation get the better of me initially. I'm glad that instead of overselling on eBay and having nothing for today, TRU cleaned the slate and started over.
-- Aside from Acid Storm, everything tied to SDCC went up at once.
-- Set limit of one per customer.
-- The site listed well in advance what day we'd be able to expect the release and...
-- Not once did the TRU site officially declare a 9:00 est release. That was always fan speculation based on an unreliable source. As skeptical as we've been about all other TRU support, I can't begin to understand why folks trusted them in this one instance. It had to be hopeful thinking.
-- Things are shipping quickly. Yes, there are a few backorders still but that's not a sweeping cancellation of orders.
-- And this will contradict my comments about the 9:00 anger, but there's talk [borderline rumor] of a larger release in August. If that's to come about, hopefully it'll quell the bulk of the day after missing out anger being felt now.

I'd like to think that if we continue to offer constructive criticism, not boycotting, we might actually get something of a productive system going with this.

 

You have to unlock the eBay level to have stuff auto-restock.

Soundwave: 5:25 (eastern) acknowledgment, 9:38 confirmation, not shipped (item located in warehouse). (Would have ordered a bit earlier, but I was foolishly dicking around trying to see if AS would show in-stock. )

Acid Storm: 10:04 in-stock notification, 10:06 acknowledgment, 11:06 confirmation, not shipped (item located in warehouse)

3 hours? And still risk not scoring? Just pay the scalpers, man, as much as it pains me to say so. Unless that kind of trip is enjoyable in and of itself. Me, I hate wasted trips.

I am curious... about how likely am I able to get them to apply my giftcards to my order and apply a coupon code I got from towers if I call them tommarow? lol

Even if their customer service is unreliable, it certainly isn't fan speculation. If a customer service agent is speaking for the company than as far as I'm concerned it's official.
