    MTMTE isn't out next week?

Well, I feel bad for James Roberts then, as he's gonna get pestered like crazy about the issue at TFcon.

It's out on the 31st I believe. I might have to go Comixology and double-dip on that one after the way 18 ended!

I have just gone to the comic shop and bought my first lot of comics ever. I got TF Prime Rage of the Dinobots #1-4. Are they related to this series issue coming out in July seems its Dinobot orientated as well?

Also have MTMTE collection vol 1 on order so I will see what all the hype is about soon I guess.

Yes, Rage of the Dinobots follows up on the FOC game and comic, and leads into this Beast Hunters comic series.

    Most definitely not this fan!

It's OK, but criminally over-rated. I have a lot of issues with it, but the vocal majority seem to enjoy it.

Well it better at least impress me over the original G1 comics! I'm paying something like $39 for the MTMTE Collecton Vol 1!

Damn comic stores in Aus charge double what IDW quote for US prices...

I wouldn't say MTMTE is over-rated. I can see how the cast of obscure and/or reinterpreted characters turns some people off, but that doesn't change the fact that it's a very well written series.

I think the important thing to bear in mind going into the series is that, despite the premise, it isn't a big swashbuckling, action-packed space adventure - it's a comic that focuses on character drama/interaction and intrigue, with lashings of situational comedy. That's not everybody's cup of tea, but if it is, it's an immensely fun book to read.
