I just cant get over the arms, they stick out too far at the shoulders and they look a little stubby in length.

If he's in scale with CHUG as it appears, he should also scale well with the Toyworld Throttlebots :D  Looks like a definitive Gears for me, just need the rest of the Minibots.. figure out which Huffer looks best in the CHUG line Hrm..

i've been waiting to see how this turned out. looks pretty damn good, especially for a classics collection. just might have to get this if i get any extra money. thank goodness i don't care much for most of the hasbro stuff to come.

This looks really really nice. Good posability. This might be on the get list.

Well he looks better than igears but those arms are still very stumpy. Why couldn't they have extended them somehow?

Hot, anyone know if SXS will just make all the minibots in classics scale? Since both the 3P Huffers look MP scaled so I don't wanna bite on those atm.

i think some of the perceived arm stubiness is coming from the shoulders being positioned too high. if the shoulders were lowered to the chest it wouldn't look as bad. oh and the arms are bent in almost every picture so that doesn't help either.

Looks cool but the aesthetics and size are throwing me off. It's as big as a Deluxe and that seems to suggest this may fit with MP figures, but the aesthetics are not G1-accurate and seem more updated Classics to me. But if he's meant to be Classics-inspired, his size is too big to fit seamlessly in a CHUG display. Seems like another case of "let's try to appease both Classics and MP fans but not really accomplishing either goal." That and price. Ouch.

The fandom is divided (almost to RIBFIR levels! :lol  ) on whether Minibots should be "mini" or not that NO ONE can design one that will "scale correctly" in everyone's mind in any collection. TT seems poised to set a new standard with MP BB, but even that official release is pretty much guaranteed to be "scaled" wrong for about half the fandom. TT's Official MP status will sway some hearts and minds, but I doubt they'll move the needle for everyone.

It's a nightmare problem for anyone that wants to design any of the Minibots.

Yeah, that's why I'm taking a wait-and-see approach at the moment. Originally I was all gung-ho about iGear's MiniWarriors line but the fudging of sizes, reuse of molds, and odd coloration choices are really putting me off to them to the point where I cancelled my orders for Veer, Duneraker, Cogz, and Bushwhacker.

I liked Hench a lot but was disappointed with UFO's odd color and Bay aesthetics (Hench went to my mixed MP/Classics display, UFO went into my TF Prime Wreckers shelf). Hasbro releasing an updated (Cyberverse Commander sized) Legends Cosmos complicate things even more, and gives me hope HasTak will tackle updated Minibots with more car and attention. That and with the announcement of MP Bumblebee, and Cubex/X-Transbots not-Huffer/Pipes too.

SXS just doesn't fit into my ideal of treating the Minibots, so he's a pass for me. But with so many options presented to us, shit just got real. XD

Yeah I hear the scale argument all the time too. Personally, all of them ought to roughly scale to their robot mode size from the original animation (after all there have been countless 'official' Bumblebee's and none of them have been 'mini' at all.)

But to each their own. I just want my classics collection as complete as possible :p

Huffer was the first, but Gears was the one that got me into Spider-Man...

    Gears/Spiderman combo is great.

I'm surprised I'm not the only one that got into marvel because of it.

I think I'm going to hold on this SXS Gears though as it's not really a mini bot design. Let's see what Cubex and X-Transbots have to offer on Gears.

If any spies for iGear are listening, this about covers my thoughts on your mini-warriors also.---^

At Cyberverse Commandar/Scout Class size the simplicity if the design worked much better with minor complaints; however, upsizing merely exposes their weaknesses. Compounding this with colors that don't seem to look right only exacerbates the problem. But anyway, this isn't a bash iGear thread. Forgive the momentary hijack. :hijacked:

He looks great IMO. I plan to display him with Alternity Bumblebee, Alternity Cliffjumper, GDO Swerve, and GDO Wheelie.

From my perspective, these 5 minibots display well in robot mode with Alternators, Binaltech, and MP-01.
