who knows, but Nelson did said fans will be pissed when they find out who the Truck is (so it could be Galvs, heck he could be a ressurected megs if the robots casting thing is true and i know fans dont want him back, but if fnas will be pissed there may be a chance, but who knows)
Where is the entertainment value if there were only average everyday vehicles? Just think about Top Gear, would people watch the show if they didn't show Super/Hyper cars and instead featured average cars? Same applies for the Transformers Franchise. Concept cars and new Super cars are eye-candy. General public and motoring enthusiasts love 'em. Take a look at popular Car Forums... they get all excited when a new TF Movie is announced. These movies are a business... they must bring in money. And how to do that? You do a damn well crowd pleasing movie. And new cars... well, they get the job done.
Not me, I'd be happy for whoever it is, just as long as it's not a new never seen in Transformers history character.
Galvatron being a shiny new truck would not surprise me one bit considering Megatron was a shitty old truck in DotM. I think it'd actually be an upgrade that makes sense. But hey, what do I know?
I'm guessing it's Grimlock The rusty old cabover semi is Grimlock's initial altmode, and the newer grey/black is his upgraded altmode.
the 2016 Camaro concept looks better in these pics than the initial pics we saw. As for the freightliner, I don't care who it is as long as they make a good leader class toy for it. Be it Galvatron, Motormaster, Nemesis Prime, dead Optimus ghost.
I can easily believe the truck is Galvatron. It fits with the progression of the character over the four films. Check it out: in Movie One he's some kind of funky Cybertronian plane. In ROTF he updates his alt mode to a funky Cybertronian tank. So now he's on the ground. In DOTM he turns into an old rusty semi truck. Aha, he's still on the ground and now he has an Earth mode. And now for TF4 he's gonna be a new-model semi truck. You see what's happening here? In the Bayverse, Megatron doesn't just want to beat Optimus Prime. Megatron wants to BE Optimus Prime. Calling it now: in TF5 Galvatron will have flames.
All these vehicles are awesome but we better be getting some kinda jets, tanks, planes choppers, something with some guns on it.
I still reckon they might go down the RiD road and call it Scourge. Either that or Lockdown... that would piss people off lol
