Blitz looks a little washed out. The lighting is a little too bright washing out the colors. Still though, does not look that bad.

Springer, the olive drab is not that bad. But it's the other colors that is off setting it. The grey is too bright and shiny and yellow is just naturaly light. Should have gone with a slightly darker grey/silver.

 

Did they fix the horrible problems with Blitzwing in this release? The nose cone and shoulder problems are so stupid.

 

anyone know how to get springers gun to attach like that? its further back than the hasbro release.

 

Why the hell would you pre-order a toy before you even know what it looks like?  

 

That's what I'm really curious to find out and why I'm sticking with my Takara Blitzwing preorder, to see if any small adjustments were made to compensate.

Umm, it's pretty simple. It's easier to put in a preorder right away for import stuff and then wait to see what the final deco is before making a final decision of whether to keep the preorder or not; placing preorders at places like BBTS, HLJ and now TFSource make it easy to cancel if you decide the final deco isn't worth it after all. Easier and better to place a preorder "just in case" as opposed to waiting and liking it but risking it selling out by the time you want to place a preorder.

I don't see how that's hard to understand.

 

Blitzwing looks beautiful, Springer looks, dare I say crap? It just doesn't pop like the Hasbro version does. Hasbro's just manages to look right whereas this one just looks meh, it could be the unpainted face.

 

They should have left Hasbro's shade of green, and made yellow more orangey. That would be way better.

 

Yeah, I want to like that figure but those issues wish I could get my money back with Blitzwing. The nose cone shouoldn't have to be FORCED into position. Also the shoulders are a WTF moment.

 

These paint jobs are doing nothing for me. And I usually prefer Takara's decos...

 

I will not lie,I think both Springer and Blitzwing look like crap.Blitzwing is too freakin white instead of tan,and Springer honestly looks like baby sh** green.I am so glad I got the Hasbro versions instead.

 

Blitzwing reminds me of "Britzwing" in using the same shiny paint as he had in TFA.

 

Springer looks way off. Blitzwing would look better if A he wasn't white and B his cold face was blue instead of purple for some reason?

Think I'll stick with Hasbro unless Blitzwing turns out to have emaculate quality.

 

I think both of these are better than Hasbro's offerings.

 

Chopper mode looks great in these colors plus the metallic paints and plastic.

The other 2 modes? Not so much.

 

I agree, Blitz looks washed out, and Springer looks like baby poo.

 

Springer is too dark, and Blitzwing is too light. That off white on Blitz is simply off putting. And judging by the way those cuts in front of the cockpit glass are angled and the picture of the plane mode itself, nosecone is also rubberized on the Takara version. I do hope the shoulders are fixed for you people who are going to get him.

 

I like that Blitzwing a lot more then Hasbro's. It's odd that they went with a purple face for cold face though.

Springer I'm just not a fan of that green. It's a tad too dark.

 

Darn, I'm abit turned off by BlitzWing - the tan is too light. I prefer the color shades in the Hasbro version. Feeling pretty neutral for Springer.

 

Sorry, I will be sticking with my Hasbro springer. Blitzwing on the other hand....

 

Too damn shiny. Looks like my mom got to them with her nail polish.
