It's obvious that like any other Cybtertronians, different modes grant Predaking different combat capabilities. For examples, most Decepticons can perform aerial combat in their flight vehicle modes, while capable of hand-to-hand combat in the Robot modes. Which is the same for Predaking, he flies in Dragon Mode, and throws punches in Robot mode. So which mode does he show more power or fights more effectively?

It seems he runs at about the same speed in both modes. His fire-breathing attack seems exclusive to his Dragon Mode, however, fire attacks are hardly lethal against Cybertronian opponents. Does his raw strength increases in Robot mode? His muscle mass, actually Cyber-mass becomes compact, and he's strong enough to lift a giant boulder that may be too big for either Optimus and Megatron. But he obviously can't lift objects the same way in Dragon Mode, making it hard to compare his strength in different modes. Any way we can conclusively compare his powers from either modes?

It seems his dragon mode is stronger than robot mode

    They seem equal so far.

His dragon mode seems superior in terms of raw durability and stability, requiring much stronger forces to knock back, while his robot mode seems to be faster and more agile.

So I'd imagine his dragon form is physically stronger, while his robot mode trades some of that raw resilience for extra speed.

The impression I've gotten so far is that his dragon mode is more about raw power, whereas his robot mode is more about close quarters combat and precision, for lack of a better word.

He's plenty formidable in both though, that much is clear.

I'd say his dragon mode. He was getting a beat-down from Wheeljack and Magnus for a while in his robot mode.

Both are formidable. But, I think his dragon mode is better.

In his dragon mode, he was able to beat Magnus, Jackie, and Bulkhead with mid-difficulty.
In his robot mode, while he ultimately won, Magnus and Jackie gave him a very tough challenge.
Plus, in 'Minus One' Megs tells him not to waste time fighting as a honorable warrior and just unleash the beast.

I think his robot form is stronger. He's functionally indestructible in either mode, but he just plain outfought WJ and UM in robot form. Rather than wasting his time with fire breath he just crushed them.

Except, unlike in any other engagement yet, Wheeljack and Ultra Magnus actually seemed to be winning against him, until they let up they had him overwhelmed.

Robot mode or beast mode, it's Predaking. His strength is the same:lol

What he's capable of doing, however, differs. He's definitely more agile and feral in his beast mode, as he should be (it's his beast mode), but that doesn't mean his robotic mode isn't, all those skills he has in beast mode become more refined in his robot mode (or at least they will in time, once he gets used to being in that mode--and this should scare the $#!+ out of Megatron, if it hasn't already).

I think he fought somewhat badly against Ultra Magnus and Wheeljack because he wasn't used to fighting like that, but once he started figuring out how to move his legs and arms, things just clicked, and he was jumping through the air as if he was flying.

He can't breath fire or soar high above the sky in robot mode, but he doesn't need to. He's just as good without those abilities robot mode, as we saw last week.

Edit: there's a reason why we don't get two sets of tech specs;)

Dragon mode is stronger, but better suited to open ground.

    So indoors he better transform.

His dragon mode seems stronger. Wheeljack and Magnus gave him a run for his money when he fought in his robot mode; whereas when he fought Wheeljack, Bulkhead and Magnus in dragon mode he had little to no trouble.

His dragon mode can definitely take a bigger beating, however it's not great for close quarters. While in robot mode that problem is solved, and his brute strength carries over. However, I'd say dragon mode edges out his robot mode because he knows how to fight as a dragon, whereas in robot mode he seems to be all raw power and no technique.

His beast- mode is bigger, which makes it harder to move the Predaking from the place he holds.

Like someone said, he is still learning in robot mode, but Megatron fears that mode more.........

We haven't seen him with a weapon so I'm picking Dragon Mode.

    I know, right?

He fought clumsily in robot mode at the start, but once he got his bearings it was ON!

He seems to be more of a piece of work to fight in robot mode to me. Does it depend on who he fights?

think of it this way, he never learn how to fight while wheeljack and ultra magnus are trained by the cybertronian military... even with all those beat up, he still manage to take both of them down...

so far, it seems like he got an advantages in beast mode, it give him flight, fire breath, tail whip, possible razor sharp claw and teeth...

while in robot mode, he can talk, have super strength and more agile, he doesnt seems to have a weapon... yet...
