um... you do realize the numbnut who took the pictures doesn't have the wings on, while in the pic on the wiki they're where they belong, right? <.<

 

Woah! This looks great! quite like this. I have no issues with it aside from scale, which is sorta beating a dead horse. I think they did a really neat job on the molding. Can't wait to pick him and Dreadwing up!

Those saying it looks unfinished from the back realize it's not fully transformed, right?

 

Ugh, I was hoping the Hasbro mold would have some form of paint in those lines along his arms and legs, I'm gonna have to buy the Takara version for accuracy.   I just hope my wallet can forgive me.

I am hoping it will be bigger than WFC Prime at least. On the other hand, WFC Megatron is slightly taller than WFC Prime.

A deluxe?

Its because their marketing department says that Megatron doesn't sell well enough compared to the hordes of Bumblebees and Optimus Prime.

I believe the Takara version has lines drawn in and the weapon has a red transparent plastic instead of purple.

 

It probably has more to do with the fact that there will already be a voyager Megatron on the shelves at the same time.

 

I really love the design, it's just too small. I like my leaders to have some size to them. As others have said, that alt mode just seems really odd on a small figure as well.

I'd really want it if it wasn't Mini-Megs.

 

Hmmm. Well, if anyone's interested in a possibly bigger IDW stealth bomber Megs, third party ToyWorld teased their own (Voyager-ish?) version as a future release.

 

Think of him as a Cyberverse toy then. He's quite large compared to the Legion/Legend figures.

 

I was afraid that his back would be super hollow but its not bad. Still could be better.

 

Which will be great in about 2016. And only available through one outlet in a back-alley in deepest, darkest Kowloon. Cos that's about the only guy left on the planet that will sell their stuff.

And Megatron wont be a Bomber by then......He'll be a coffee-table or some other horseshit in the comic.

I dig it. I am a bit worried that this whole wave seemingly has critical parts that will be easy to lose.

 

Am I the only one who thinks that maaaaayybe he mistransformed it this way to show us that we could make the 3rd armored tank mode of G2 Dreadwing?

 

I was never very much interested in this figure.
The IDW stealth bomber design is cool, if far from my favourite design for Megatron, but I still kinda knew they wouldn't be able to do it justice as a deluxe.

 

It's been said many times, but I SO wish they sprang for a voyager on this one :\ I really don't need another tiny Megatron who looks tiny with everyone else...
