I LOVED that he talked and the line, albeit being from the movie....was good placement, basically saying "I win"...but Soundwave would never leave it at that.

Though, I would've like a tiny bit more of the vocoder. Not heavily, just a little bit more. The extreme Dr. Claw voice worked for him in ROTF/DOTM....but with his design here, just didn't seem to fit.

Still creepy as hell though. >.>

 

Why is it that whenever we talk about Soundwave voices, we forget the best one: Cybertron Soundwave. "Time to lay some science on y'all."

 

I felt they didn't modulate it enough. I could clearly tell that was Frank Weller talking.

I still liked it, but it seemed too deep for him. I was hoping for a more G1 voice.

 

Dr. Claw vice for me.

 

I suppose they give him the Doctor Claw voice nowadays because some people, like me, can barely understand the original 80s one without subtitles. WFC was a huge pain in the ass because I had to turn on subtitles whenever Soundwave spoke, FOC to a lesser extent.

 

Heavily Modulated: I kinda liked it.

I thought he would speak only in the movie.
