Got this set today and I am pretty happy with it... need to make some changes to make it better, but I was able to make a pretty cool feature IMHO. I was able to make removable "horns" so when he transforms the horns will store in the base of the mega cannon. The head also fits nicely in the nosecone with very little gap.

I had thought Blitzwing would be a good base for a Classics Overlord, but we got Double Dealer as the remold instead. Silly hasbro...

Any thoughts on disconnecting the plane nose and mounting it on the left shoulder?

Well, they're very thin, very small, and they store underneath in a cavity that has no cover. I think it's a matter of time before they fall out, break, or get lost.

I can bend these almost 90 degrees with no issues. Also, do you think that they just sit in those holes in the gun? Come on! :p  There are corresponding channels that they plug into. I thought it out!

I have no idea.... I don't own the mold. If you send me some pics and measurements of the next connection and area that the head needs to fit I can let you know.

Well crap... I just said today that I was going to buy Double Dealer and figure out a head swap and use it as my Overlord. Thanks for supplying the perfect head. :D

Question though, what's it look like without the spikes? I'm not a fan of that gimmick so I'll probably just leave them out.

I'm glad that I'm not the only one that saw this, and I congratulate you on being so quick about it. A definite pick up for me. Now if I could only find one of those figures on a shelf somewhere!

    This is awesome.

(Color me skeptical, but the fact that Hasbro is doing Doubledealer when they know full well the fans will go apeshit over an Overlord, plus the overwhelming amount of MTMTE cast members scheduled for the next few waves of Generations, suggests to me that Hasbro has something up their sleeve with him....)

That mold doesnt really lend itself to overlord for me personally but the antenna storage thing is pure genious and from what i can tell from the pics, you are one of the few around that can do a humanoid face real justice. From what i am told that is one of the hardest things to do in the 3d realm is faces.

    The designs look great Zildjian

Nice work there. The prints really came out impressive!
If I may chime in an option for the antennae, it is to have them rotate 180º and point downwards in alt mode instead of storing them somewhere else. It should be easy enough to introduce a hinge..

Thanks man! I thought of that as well, but they won't fit under that ridiculous cockpit on Blitzwing.

Can you not have them retract like Uranos's antennae?
