I am almost certain they didn't think that far ahead. Yes, I've heard it, but I think the Infinite one came as a result of the Bioshock one, not the other way around. It just doesn't sound right that they'd go "Yeah, let's put that sound effect there in case we ever need it."

^I dunno maybe they pulled a Pixar on this one. Wall-e I think was spotted in the background of Toy Story. You know how long it was before Wall-e came to light.

Maybe it was one of the original ideas they had for Bioshock or something?

Don't mean to go off topic but, Wall-E made a cameo in Toy Story? Pics (or video) or it didn't happen.

It wasn't Toy Story I was thinking of it was The Incredibles. The point still stands they may have had the idea for Songbird back during the original creation of Bioshock, it's just nothing came of the idea until Infinite. Maybe it was even an alt sound for the Big Daddy's who the heck knows.

    ~EDIT~

Okay the Wall-e example was a bad one since they all turned out to be bogus or at the very least sketchy. Still Pixar has done a lot of easter eggs involving future movies. Like Jesse and Nemo(or was it his dad) in Monsters Inc.

I'm hoping this isn't some kind of prequel in Wounded Knee like I've heard some people say, because I'd prefer to have some other-dimension adventure rather than more of the current Booker and his backstory.

Well I really wouldn't mind if one of the three DLC was dedicated to present Booker. I mean it wouldn't be bad to learn more about his past especially after all the revelations towards the end of the game. Although then again that might be a nice set up for a second infinite game.

Oh hell no, there's no chance they're doing another Infinite. In fact, I'm pretty sure that's why they're doing DLC. Because that should give you your dose of Infinite. They have to have learned from Bioshock 2: When something is beautiful and makes an impression like Bioshock and Bioshock Infinite do, making a sequel in the same setting is never going to be as amazing simply because it lacks that element of surprise. When I saw rapture for the first time, I was stunned. The second time, I already knew what everything looks like. When I saw Columbia for the first time, I was absolutely shocked (Bam) and I think if going back to Columbia after the DLC, which is still an extension of THIS game, it'll end up being average at best, much like 2. I think, for maybe half a decade or even a whole decade, just stray away from Bioshock and make another Shock game, maybe another System Shock or a whole new franchise; So that when they get back to Bioshock, they have that fandom waiting for the game and thus, more people will enjoy it.

Well I didn't mean have it still set in Columbia. We all know that's done with. I meant more along the lines of Booker's past and the whole what led him down the path he took. Same character just new settings.

While I didn't mind the re-use of environments since it was from the point of view of two completely different characters, I can see why it would be rather dull to do it for Infinite.

Does anyone know if there's a fix for the stuttering when using the Alternate post processing method, other than changing to normal setting?

Played it in an hour and done! Ending a little confusing. But it is good.

Wait, so Burial at Sea is an hour long? And they divided it into episodes for that?

This game may be the last "season pass" I ever purchase.

I also explored. I almost got all of the audio logs. In all it was around 1 and a half hours. There even a little bit to the game with no action at all.
