Sorry to burst your bubble, but those skids were not going to the TFCC store. I moved two of them myself. They were in transit to a holding room for another vendor. I had to do a double take on it as well, but even though they are in Hasbro shipping cases, we believe they are simply the Japanese release, and not the American version.

Maybe this should be taken off the front page now before it gets out of hand. No news here.

Yeah, there's no way the US version would be marked "MP-13"

Headline says "Masterpiece Soundwave To Debut At Botcon This Weekend!"

Click to this thread, Karl Hartman says,"we believe they are simply the Japanese release, and not the American version. "

These things, they do not match...

    EDIT: Apparently, fixed. Thanks, mods!

Here's one more botcon staffer assuring you there are no hasbro mp soundwaves at the club store. I wish!

The yellow visor and MP-02 listing yet coupled with Japanese lettering on the box, leading one to believe this is MP-13, make this one confusing bit of news.

Maybe a FunPub staffer was just helping a dealer with their supply of Takara MP-13s...?

That would be cool if it was the Hasbro one.

The Asia release of MP Soundwave came in a Hasbro box... The American release will not be for sale at Botcon.

That makes sense. There was a convention here last weekend, and a guy had some Japanese MP-13's but the shipping case said Hasbro.
