Looking how amazing these cars are, I'm thinking TF4 is also going to be amazing. There are going to be a lot of nice looking cars in the movie, which makes me happy. I love cars!

 

Just looking over the cars and the Cadillac appears to be the Cien: a concept car from 2002 to celebrate Cadillac's 100th birthday. It features a 750 hp V-12, making it fit right in with the other high-performance machines on the set seen so far. The convertible Buick is the Velite concept that made its debut at the 2004 New York Auto Show. This car is powered by a 400 hp V-8, making it the lightweight of the group. Also, the blue/purple car isn't a Maserati. It's a new Aston Martin Vanquish powered by a 565 hp V-12 painted in the factory's own Cobalt Blue.

 

I have a feeling most of these cars will be props.

 

These cars are for NEED FOR SPEED not TF4. I'm sorry to disappoint.

Yep, sorry guys; there is more than one movie filming here. The giant ramp on I-375 is for Need for Speed, and they're shooting in downtown Detroit right now (Campus Martius Park, middle of downtown). I drove down around the ramp's run-off and found these signs showing parking is prohibited for Need for Speed filming tomorrow. This is also the source of that blue/white Mustang pic.

 

New sports cars + a trailer that carries them = Magnus dead giveaway!

 

none of the cars on that truck were seen on the need for speed set. That truck and those cars were all seen at the 12 mile and warren GM tech center location. That's no where near down town Detroit.

 

Yeah, woops, wrong thread; I was referring to the white/blue Mustang/camera rig and others that were spotted downtown a couple days ago. Those are NFS, which is filming downtown right now. And yeah, I live here too (Detroit); I know that.

 

I was downtown yesterday, and watched a chase scene with the mustang.

 

In a funny occurrence Cadillac just abandoned the Ciel concept.

I personally say that white Ferrari is something of an ordinary car. The Vanquish would be a beautiful car for Mirage. (That blue color is a gorgeous shade.)

 

This. I hope the Cadillac Cien is a Vehicon - prime vehicons' alt-mode always reminds me of Cadillac CTS.

I would still be happy if Cien is some other bot or con and we get a transforming figure for it.
