Starscream makes me want to customise a Prime Skyquake into B.B. for a BW2 set  

 

Starscream looks ace, the rest of the set not so much. Still wondering why no Cybertron Defense Red Alert with a new head as Soundwave.

 

They made a concious decision to not touch Unicron Trilogy molds for modern Botcon exclusives.

Plus it seems like they only have preference towards Voyagers as the largest size they make as a exclusive.

 

Maybe there's a chance to get Soundwave in a subscription figure.

Though I'm still hoping for Waspinator.

 

Looks very nice actually, probably the only toy out of the ones we've seen so far that I like!

 

Plus, the awesomeness that was Darksyde Megatron should have retired that mold, hung it in the rafters.

 

Doesn't the bio technically ID him as a clone of Starscream, just as Skywarp is a clone, and the G2 Gobots are all clones in the Club stories? If that's the case, I think people can stop fussing about it being "poor execution" of MW Starscream.

As it is, I find it quite awesome. Can't wait to get him in-hand tonight.

 

I say in my own personal fiction that this new Starscream will eventually reappear in Beast Wars 2nd.

 

If there's ONE AEC mold that should have been used for the final time, it really should have been CD Red Alert. There is no other figure that works for MW Soundwave.

But I guess that makes it better that Soundwave is not in it (this year). In a way it's better to get nothing than to get a missed opportunity.

 

I agree but 1 more use of the mold besides MW Soundwave - I gotta have Predator Stalker - endoscopic claw for $5 extra optional
