I think Scamper looks pretty good, and I don't mind the red for the head... but do I wish that it had a faceplate like the original. To me the head looks a lot like Energon/Movie Hardtop's head of course Hardtop's head looks like Bumper's as well.

Does anyone besides me think they should make the scamper mold voyager sized and voyager style with a diff. head mold and repaint as a TRUE new Rodimus Prime

No, because that would be a giant legends toy, and it would suck.

Looks awesome, I will jump on a preorder for the Hasbro one, that said i am not expecting one until after Botcon/SDCC or perhaps just before.

I can see Reprolabels doing a huge sticker set for him including chrome ones for the legs if that bugs you that much.

as for 3rd party accessories, I for see a transforming scamper , either into a second gun or a bot mode. i could also see six gun spiting into additional fire power for Metroplex .

Straight up guns i'd suspect a 2 pack of g1 esque guns.

I wish I could tell you where the pics he posted are, he WAS on this site a few years ago. I'm not kidding about the taking up his whole basement thing, it was estimated that if it transformed it would be over 6' tall. Some of the buildings in "Metroplex City" were so detailed they had interiors!

$125-250? Guy probably would laugh at offers under $500. (but sadly, I bet he just tossed it after a while)

Any old school guys or mods remember this project? See if you can post a link.

    Like a certain Ninja/Comando from an 80's military toy-line?

Last 2 years is more like it. The last best mainline TF's were from 2010 IMO.

Toywiz might be the worst of all the online retailers when it comes to prices. To say they overprice things is an understatement.

I didn't know his knees had joints until today. Guess I'm more out of the loop in TF toys that I believed.

Anyway, I'm glad that there's knee articulation so he won't look so static with those skinny legs and waist of his.

Is it just me, or does Metroplex look pissed that the kid is handling his ramp-nipple?

Watch out kid, he's about to upper-cut ya!
