It's not the responsibility of Google or Apple to fix people's mistakes. Mobage didn't trick anyone, fool them, or steal their money. Players made a decision to gamble on tiered space bridges and lost. That is their own fault.

Here's a newsflash:

TFL will never have better game play. It is what it is. You collect the cards because you have a completist mentality. You win by spending the most time and the most money on the game. Yesterday's super pwnage card is today's fodder. The second the game stops being profitable they won't look for ways to fix it, they'll shut the game down and move on to the next.

 

I gamble, I go to local casinos and vegas. I don't bet money I'm not ready to lose, so when I lose the money, it doesn't bother me. Just like when I bought these tier 6 bridges, it's a gamble. I didn't bet more money than I was willing to. Yeah, it sucks to make a bet to lose but, I didn't bet more than I was willing to. Losing sucks, but accept your loss when you lose. Don't bet what you can't afford.

 

Who are you trying to convince? Me? Madscientist? Anyone who disagrees?

Madscientist doesn't care. Neither does Claws. You could run a perfect debate on the topic...it's not going to convince them that your viewpoint is the right one.

You don't even need Rodimus to make top tier. 2 MTM UM with MTM Kup plus about 600 cubes would get it done. You also need time and good strategy. BTW this would also be far far cheaper than trying that insane Tier 6 with terrible odds. And we all knew how bad the odds were before we started it was spelled out pretty clearly in this forum.

 

The problem is:

I take personal responsibility for my actions and decisions. I have spent money on the events in varying amounts since it started back in December. Now someone is going to come along, "spend" $300 on bridges, receive a bunch of episode cards, realize that spending $300 on one event is a horribly rotten decision, cry to Google or Apple about how evil Mobage is, and get their money back. These people aren't using their episode cards as upgrade fodder or selling them for credits, they're competing with them to finish in the top tier and taking away top tier spots from those who are playing fair and square using the cards they collected and the cards they paid for.

 

Nah, I just got the first tier to get my Kup alt. How much was that? 100 coin? That's the most I'll put in to the events now, unless they bring back the weapon one, but really, the weapon sucks now.

Claws is hanging around the top 10 hahah. I'm sure who ever ends up ranked #151 will be really happy with that. They may not have a Rodimus, but 300 bucks worth of cards still makes your deck that competitive.

This isn't about Players Vs Mobage - That's just an excuse to justify stealing. You don't like Mobage and giving them money, well then don't. Let's not pretend you're in the right here.

Anyways, I'm not too bothered by all of this. If folks want to put aside their integrity for a couple bucks, that's not my problem. I think it would be fair to those players that are playing by the rules to have the accounts frozen of players like Butch and Claws for the duration of this event and the cards removed. I'm not going for top tier so again, none of this really affects me.
