Having a few free shots at Tier 6 and not hitting, then getting a refund is a win-win situation in the end. Your either get the cards you want, or free cards and your money back

I don't see anything wrong with people getting refunds. Wish I could get all my $$ spent back! Hopefully with mobage losing $$ they would open up to more suggestions and better game play. It's not just the $$ spent but also the TIME & EFFORT to obtain those cards.
Playing for top tier is NOT easy regardless of the amount spent

Tell me about it. I spent a few bucks and every episode I play my ass off and always get second teir. There is no doubt in my mind free cards would get me first teir.

Playing for top teir now is impossible without spending money... unless you get the cards free.

 

Mobage isn't putting their hand in your pocket unless you are inviting them to. You have to click on the buy coins icon, then input your Google / iTunes password, then click on the pay bridge, then are reminded that it's a pay bridge and must again click to confirm. That's 4 clicks before you finally spend your coins, along with the hundreds of messages here over the last 3 weeks that the tiered bridges aren't guaranteed.

 

Spawning a L8 gnaw is "ULTRA RARE" as the game tier bridge,medals pulling. Only recently in the last 2 hrs have they become more frequent probably due to the update coming up..This game is so f@cked.. Sad I wish it would improve.. Long term customer satisfactory = more $$

 

So if I walked into the liquor store and bought $50 worth of scratch offs and lost can I have my money back? How about if I spend $100 on the big powerball jackpot and lose? Can I go to the casino and cry after I blow $500 on the slot machines?

geez, this tiered bridge/refund business has really divided the forum.

i know i did say i wasnt asking for a refund either but after i thought about it i said what the heck, as if mobage really gives a rat's arse about individual players. So i requested the refund anyway- still pending. Cant see why anyone should be so worked up by this. if i dont get the refund so be it, and others who have then great. I support the player base not mobage. Its not equivalent to cheating eg hacking as some suggest. The refund goes through a process so if google/apple approve then whats the problem?

Thalack's argument is that the buyer's got exactly what they paid for...a chance at a rare card. The other side of it is that the ante shouldn't be so high. Should people vote with their wallets? Yes. Should a refund after the fact be the way it gets done? Probably not, but if I got my money back I wouldn't complain. To be honest, knowing how it would polarize this forum, I'd keep my mouth shut.

Now the forum conversation is dominated by this debate...just like it was the first time Shockwave sent people away upset...and earlier today when Rodimus had his way.
