Rumble is a great figure. I bought this set for Ravage and was slightly disappointed by him. Way too skinny

man these guys are tiny ! i mean i knew they were gonna be small but i had no idea even having lazerbeak first they still seem small to me. But are they epic!!! i have no QC issues on mine that i can see chrome looks to have turned out well. Ragave is all kinds of awesome so many joints on such a tiny figure incredibly well engineered.

The Frumble twins are things dreams are made of, though i guess i need to refer to instructions as i couldnt get the piledrivers to stay on. so much articulation on what is practically a legends figure. all around great stuff glad i picked them up and now i eagerly await Prowl

Ragave is cool, but Woundsave is not bad either.

Finally have these tiny mofo's in hand. WOW... Was not sure if the $60 price point was worth it, but it really is to me. In hand the feel so much better than I thought they would, and their size doesn't bother me in the slightest. Now I just need my Starscream and Sideswipe, and I'm good to go!!

grouping them around soundwave really drives the whole thing home yes im a little disgruntled i paid 120 for far less plastic, but the paint apps are plentiful especially for the frumbles.

but they have such great engineering and awesome precense and personality

There were (much) better deals out there than the $60 per set (before shipping) American retailers were asking for these. If you would have imported these directly from Japan or Hong Kong, they would have set you back about $30 - $35 + around $10 shipping per set (or about $15 if both were shipped together).

Show us where, because even looking at stores from Japan and HK, I still see about $60 plus shipping. Only AmiAmi had it for like $33 (21% off SRP), but they stock like 10 units and then they're gone.

Integrated weapons on laserbeak are amazing but they seem to be holding ravage back. He's also pretty hollow on the cassette B-side so ends up a bit small in Jaguar mode. But rumble can ride him like a little horse so all is forgiven.

Looks like you answered your own question... Like I said: there were great deals out there, and the retailer I got him from had more stock than Amiami back when pre-orders opened, for comparable prices.
I didn't say those deals are still available, though. But for those complaining about the price: it would have paid off to hunt around, instead of just following the herd to TFSource or BBTS.

Oh trust me, if I had the funds at the time when they were first released, I would have much preferred to of gotten them at the lower price points. But I couldn't...

I have had several bad experiences using some of those less expensive options you speak of.

I usually never buy from non USA retail sites regardless of price because when qc issues arrive or issues with orders it becomes a pain in the ass to resolve as I have experienced and would rather not deal with any possible headaches.

^I used to think like you until I purchased 2x Prowl plus 2x Bluestreak for $160AUD from Anime Export. For the same price I can purchase only one of each from BBTS. That's a massive difference. I'm willing to risk QC issues for half the price.

Sixteen pages with barely any pictures and nobody complains about the hips on Rumble\Frenzy? :sly:

The lack of forward hip movement is my only complaint about the mold. It's got a full range of motion moving the legs backward, but forward there's barely anything.

There is an easy fix for it, though. With a pair of flush cutters it can even be done in less than a minute for both Rumble and Frenzy.

Did you have extra mold flashing or something? The legs on mine can move forward into a full 90 degree sitting position with no modifications.

Same on mine, both Frenzy and Rumble leg can swing 90 degree without any issue.
