Oh okay it looks like they are using the Motobot (not Arcee) body and going for the transmetal color scheme if I'm not mistaken. Personally I like that incarnation of the character more. Who knows, if he's a big enough BA fan he may want that modelled as well.

 

I don't know how I missed this. Maybe because its so different from your Viacon stuff. I absolutely love your work. Your versatility and skill always amaze me my friend.

I know you said that you have no say in how this head is released, but is it possible to make a variation on it so you can offer it on Shapeways yourself? Maybe make one in your style for say the BH Arcee or for the PE offerings.

As for a variation on the BA head. I don't want to step on my client's or anyone's toes so I'll have to pass on created something similar.

However, I may attempt to do an homage to Blackarachnia's Transmetal version if there is enough interest.

1st wow, you captured the character perfectly.  

If you get permission to put it on shape way, I ask you wait for the Transformers Prime Beast Hunters version of Arcee to be out. So you can adjust it to fit her (if it needs to be). Plus you already have made an army of amazing heads already for the current Arcee mold.  

There are so many molds that scream Beast Wars, in the new TFP BH series. But on I am begging you to make a new head for Bulkhead, to turn the deluxe Beast Hunters Bulkhead into Rhinox.

And maybe some optional mini Gatling guns that can plug into the arm ports, or be hand held.

Unfortunately I have no control over thr BA model aside from letting the client know fans like it. I was thinking about doing a TM version of Blackarachnia, but there doesn't seem to be any love for her. Oh well.

With regards to the Rhinox head, what is the base figure you'll be using? He requested I size it up to 20 mm at its furthest point-side to side? I figure it would be a husky, larger figure like a voyager TFP Bulkhead. But I never asked. Please LMK

 

I think the Transmetal Optimus primal here was sent to be the base body for Rhinox, but I haven't really put much thought into it yet myself. I have several others to knock out before I get to him so the boss probably has a better idea what the plan is on that one than I do, hah. I can tell you he will indeed be around voyager sized one way or another so he looks right with other BW figures.

 

Hey man. Would this head scale well with Animated Blackarachnia?

 

Would be a bit small on that body

 

are you able to swap out the shapeways head off that mold? because i thought due to the fragiity of the plastic used once the head was on it was on.

also this might look better on the BH version, since the legs that come off the bow are kinda insectoid.
