I always thought G1 Megatron's desing was gross, but this is changing my mind. Release MP Megatron in these colors and it would be hard not to bite.

 

That color scheme may not be so inexplicable after all...

 

Oh hey, it's Transmetal Optimus Primal cosplaying as Megatron. Interesting.

 

We don't want him to look like a real gun, so use bright ghastly colors! Okay, I'll just go get metallic paint and restore him to his proper color scheme. Problem solved.

 

Looks like Megatron got the Armada Laserbeak treatment.

This is about what I was expecting G2 Megatron to be like, before the green tank showed up.

 

If they could sell it today, it might be done best as a exclusive of some sort. Impactor colors? Generation 2 Megatron? He looks so ridiculous, he's actually likable.

Besides, we could always repaint it to our liking. Nothing a few cans of black and silver spray paint can't fix.

 

Reminds me of Optimal Optimus and Megatron did steal these colors in Beast wars for a time.

 

I would buy it, it reminds me of the Nintendo zap gun.

Hey I just bought that issue from my local comic book shop last week   (I'm slowly building my collection of the original run).

It turns out i used to own a copy of this comic book in a digest form (from Germany), it was lumped together with at least two other issues preceeding, and following this one   Aahh, the nostalgia. It's a cool feeling, to be able to recognize artwork, I haven't seen for twenty some years.

 

They should try it again in Classics Megatron colours  

 

Wow, that Megs would fit right in with a lot of the G2 line!  

I wonder if Hasbro ever did a proto of the Anibots - the guys who eventually became the Predacons

 

You know, with all the G2 talk, I gotta say if Megatron had been this blue and orange gun instead of a tank I would've been so happy.

 

I just don't like the orange and neon blue colors.

 

The logic is that states have varying laws on toy guns.

Regular toy guns are cheap enough that the makers don't really care if some markets don't carry them or not.

Hasbro's logistics don't work that way, though. It's all or nothing. It's too much hassle for them to create special shipments that can only go to 30 of the 50 states or whatever.
