Bummer guys, looks like I'm out. My daughter was sick earlier in the week with a 102+ degree fever, and I thought I had dodged the bullet. Woke up this morning with my tell-tale "I'm getting sick" symptoms -- full body cramping and dizziness. Temp checked out OK before my grocery run, but I just got back and it's now ~101. I can't subject you guys to that in good conscience, so I'm not going to be able to make it unless I suddenly recover in the next half and hour.

Please someone have carrot cake in my honor.  

Also, I nabbed another Skyquake from the BV TRU while I was out. Please PM me if anyone wants it. If someone could ask Harold if he needs it I'd appreciate it. If so, you guys have my phone number and he could chance contamination today or I could bring it to Botcon.

Have you ventured into a 3D scanner yet? I have some ideas, but they would require modifying a model produced by a 3D scan.

No, no scanner. I messed with some ipad 3D scan apps but the quality wasn't there.

 

Im not certain, but it seems like its about 3 or so months between meetings, depending on whens a good time for most. so likely after the august date you mentioned would make sense Gooba. THough I wouldn't mind bimonthly meetings in the warm days usually holidays and such make a quarterly type pattern more universal

 

I have heard you can make a scanner out of a Xbox Kinnect, But I haven't had time to explore that either.

Sept 21st is a no-go for me, camping that weekend.

 

I pick the 21st can't do the 28th but if the majority picks 28th I'm ok with it.

 

Out of town the 28th. Marching in the Autumn Daze parade a few blocks from Chatterbox on the 14th. So that day and the 21st works for me to meet there or any other agreed upon location.

 

The 14th is good for me.

 

Would many of you be opposed to coming to Cottage Grove for the meetup? I'm thinking of asking my boss if he minds if we use our break room for this. There will be plenty of room and no one else will be here to bother us.
