Transformers Prime Beast Hunters Episode 11, "Persuasion" Description

So apparently its Ratchet who will be the one getting shmoozed. And by Megatron no less.

 

It may lead into that but for all we know it could lean into something entirely different. I mean it could be about Megatron trying to get Ratchet into the con faction but fails at doing so then he turns to someone who's more prone to being manipulated like Smokescreen who at this time is starting to ask questions about his whole destiny thing.

After all we've had episodes in the past that at first we thought it was going to lead into one thing but then it goes into a new direction. This may be likely one of those cases.

 

I am thinking that megs does not Shmooze. More likely megatron force injects Ratchet with Syth-en, and forces him over.

 

It may lead to Ratchet turning into this.

 

Synth-en is acting like drug and will corrupt anyone. I see that happening Ratchet the next question Meg has to get Ratchet leave base.

 

Not that hard. Just make sure there are more emergencies than bots  

 

What good would that do though? Ratchet's not a fighter, he's a medic. Without use of his cognitive skills, he's a sub-par addition even with Synth-En. But I could see Megatron blackmailing Ratch, if indeed that is how the episode goes. (As Kaiju-Guy said, this may not be the case). I just find it funny given all the speculation that Ratchet would betray Optimus over sacrificing Cybertron for Earth.

 

Syth-en is addictive. Megs could use the promise of it to keep rachet working or years.

 

But also causes a great deterioration of one's mental facilities, as demonstrated both times it was used. Thus it would seriously hamper Ratchet's ability to work... at least usefully. Though I could see it as a subtle means of keeping the Vehicons/Predacons in line.

Hnnnnngh Megatron + Ratchet = awesome, historically

 

It may be more of a case of weakening the bots. Using rachet as a front line warrior addicted to syth may weaken how much the autobots are willing to fight That and without a medic the bots are in trouble. It's not like megatron needs a medic or a scientist.

 

I think Megatron may try and talk Ratch into it,
and Racth may agree with some htings, but i highly doubt he would defect so easily unless comething happens early n and even then i still doubt it.
Knock Out has a more logical chance of Becoming an Autobot.

 

Wait, why are we convinced that Megatron is going to try to convince Ratchet to join the Decepticons? He could be "appealing" for another reason.

 

there's a rumor that was somehow started because of an interview that an autobot will switch sides.

 

It just me this episode sounds like a bad romance novel. The kind where the guy gets the girl but really bad romance novel. Ugh.

 

If Knockout changes sides then I can see Ratchet being drugged/forced against his will to work for the Cons. But, seriously, Ratchet HATES Megs and has followed OP's orders without fail. If Ratchet DOES change sides it's not because he's not in his right mind. And why would Megatron appeal to him? I wonder if Ratchet acquires something Megs wants in the next few episodes.

 

There's a three-week break till Minus One. I'm gonna die of anticipation waiting for this episode.
