As seen here on the news, Elgin City is the back drop for shooting right now. More importantly, Elgin Cotten Oil Mill. This would explain the casting call for oil workers.

You guys here that? If you're in that area get your cameras ready and most importantly your camcorders. We have yet to see a detailed video from any of the sets, LOL! Pretty excited to see if we get any new vehicle leaks or official announcements.

I think I have an Idea of what that scene will be, but I don't want to mention it to jinx it.

I forget how many weeks are they going to be shooting in the Texas area? Is it one or four weeks?

 

Filming till the 20th. Michigan filming will start late June.

 

And that's probably when we'll start getting a ton of video and photos like TF3 in Chicago.

I live almost on the line between Austin/Manor, which is like 10 mins west of Elgin. I should swing by that oil mill and see what I can see

I hope that's where some action scenes are gonna be shot. Idk, something about an action/fighting scene in a rural area is really cool to me  

 

Ahh thanks for the answer. Just wondering if we will see the new vehicles of Optimus, Bumblebee, and the rest during this filming in Texas. That's the only thing that might get me to go there cause I'd love to get pics of the vehicles.

 

Just make sure you're outside of the blast radius  

 

I don't think there aloud too but if they do they will just be set pieces instead of the actual buildings.

 

Don't recall the TFA oil scene but TFP's oil scene came to my mind since it was somewhat a recent episode.
