Anywho, I'm excited to get this. Little pissed tho since I had decided not to get hexatron as the character means little to me and I don't like the colors, but I love my Awakening and this Super Nova should go so well with it, and I'm a sucker for limited editions.

Can't believe I spent $226 tho. There are so many things i've been wanting to get for the same price, and things I probably want more than this, but seeing as how this was a now or never kind of thing, had to jump. Hopefully I love it, or else it's going up for trade in a few weeks!

 

Does anyone if there's tracking information for hex, or should we just expect in like a week or two?

I'm very much on the same page as you Surly J. Wasn't really planning on getting it especially at the price it was sold at. I've been debating on purchasing MP10b for weeks and instead I purchase Super Nova....guess black convoy will have to wait. Doesn't help that I purchased a ThreeA metal gear rex this morning as well, seriously was not expecting waking up to spending $700 dollars.... and I need a way to hide all of this from my gf!!!!!

 

You know, a grey/white Feral Rex could look really cool. I mean---there's white tigers, white lions, white rhinos...

And do all the metallic gold in silver instead. Or really any almost metallic color would make a cool accent.

Just like to post to share how great the customer service is at planet steel express. I made a muddle of my order, I grouped the supernova hexatron with the mini-sub set and ended up with the much higher shipping cost compared to if I am to ship the supernova hexatron and the mini-sub set separately. Afterall the supernova is ready to go whereas the mini-sub are only due in sept. I messaged psx about the issue, and got my PayPal refund on the difference within hours and psx will be shipping the two items separately to me. The communication and aftersales service is really top notch!!! communication is smooth and the response time is quick!! This went far and beyond my expectations after hearing the problems people had with Fansprojectcore.

Also, during the ordering process, despite many logging in to snag a piece of the supernova hexatron, the process was actually smooth and I didn't feel any lag despite assessing using 3G network on my mobile phone.

All I can say is kudos to PSX!!! Top notch!!!

Thanks guys, I hope I have space for it lol. Managed to get the version with old snake for about $430, not too bad I suppose. Going a little off topic but...FatedLazarus did you have problems with the railgun not staying put? I've heard problems with that and wondered if there were any solutions. Again sorry about going off topic, still pretty psyched in getting both super nova and rex. Might sell supernova if I don't like it...I was really just planning on getting the regular colored one to go with my Masterpiece figures but the fact that this was limited suckered me in. So I might hit you Mr Megatroptimus if I plan on selling it.

 

$430 shipped? That's not bad. I haven't looked in a while but last I saw they were going for 500+ shipped. One day I really may have to suck it up and sell some stuff to get that sucker if I ever find space for it.

Hey, maybe Super Nova will be worth $400+ in which case I'll happily sell it for a 3A Rex, lol.

Also can't see how you could hide that Rex from your gf. Sounds l like the premise of a bad 80s movie lol.

 

Yeah, I heard about that problem too but thankfully it never affected mine. Though it was pretty terrifying trying to attach the rail gun because it required a good bit of force. Which is difficult to do on a figure the size of a large child  . Thankfully the only problem I had with mine was finding space for him. Pictures can't do his size and detail justice.

As for you lucky super nova owners I also send my congratulations! The allure was strong for this one but I had to force myself to resist in order to actually try to stay on budget for once!  

 

I might place Unicron and Primus infront of rex for a couple weeks and try to hide him lol.
