Liege Maximo looks stupid and uncreative. As if to say, "we couldn't think of a good design, so let's make him look more like Loki... no one will notice."

 

Certainly interesting. Vector Prime and Unicron look sexy, and it's nice to finally know the names of the last 4 members.

 

Liego Maximo - the first Decepticon, if you go by what others say of him in Exiles.
Thirteen - No clue, beyond what is said of him here. The unifier perhaps?

no one will notice? His entire role is similar to Loki's role in Norse mythology.

This isn't the creators being lazy - this is an intentional homage.


But I can see why somebody wouldn't like that (I don't mind).

Technically we still don't know if the Thirteenth member is really called Thirteen. As AniCosmos pointed out, his name is intentionally written in pink and italics - meaning it could still be a placeholder (i.e. Alpha trion redacted his name from the records)

Hopefully that's the case. The fact that the pretty much have been hands off regarding Roberts' mythology hopefully means they'll let him continue to weave his own mythology in the books.

Leige Maximo as per G2 was daddy of Megatron and the Decepticons.

 

Prima is male, the female one is Solus Prime

 

EDIT: I see now that the Loki-like one is actually Liege Maximo. Hmmm....its an interesting design, but does it work for Liege Maximo? I really don't think so. I like his original look waaaaay better....
Anyways, I can't wait until this comes out! I wonder if this Onyx Prime has anything to do with the old Botcon-exclusive Onyx Primal? He IS the Beastformer, right?

- Nexus Prime-the first combiner

cause the book states he's Liege, under the pic of the Loki bot it says "Above: Liege Maximo: the manipulator", so he's Liege

 

I actually like the whole fantasy aspect of the 13 because it does bring out the idea of Cybertronians being more then just machines but something more to them then meets the eye so they say. As someone who grew up reading mythology I'm VERY happy that Hasbro's actually exploring this part of the franchise and bringing out very interesting stories both new and ones that were hinted but never explored.

 

Wow, this book sounds cool and to find out that there was an ancestor to the Quintessons that was a prime is pretty interesting to say the least. I might buy this when it shows up in retail.

 

what are the quintesson's roll in the aligned continuity?

 

Not reading posts...already said many times that Megatronus becomes The Fallen

 

I love this but the only thing that rubs me the wrong way is that everything will be presented as 100% unaltered infallible truth. I would prefer if things were more foggy. But for what this will be I am very tempted.

 

The Thirteen and Primus and Unicron get a lot of hate in this fandom, I see. I don't blame anyone, though, Hasbro has sort of been beating these guys to death and shoving them down everyone's throats...

 

Was Zeta Prime from War of Cybertron one of the 13 Primes????
