I'm still using the proprietary reducer HA 101 that was made for these, but I've been told RU311 works just as good, just make sure you mix in batches for each job. As far as ratio goes, I spray at almost 1:1, which takes 3-4 coats for good coverage, allowing for flash time between coats. It helps to keep the paint coats from being too thick when you build it up slower, and results in a smoother paint job. It can, I have all of the jets for a Superion, just never got around to it. Only problem is that most resin model kits are made with much thinner plastic, which is why I stick to TF's when doing these. Plus, different model manufacturers have their own idea of scales, so they don't always match up. For TF's, a deluxe is going to be more or less the same size as a deluxe.
Besides G1 stuff I was refering to new combinders being possible with any collection of model kits. Yeh some kit have thin plastics,but there are work arounds for that.
I hear ya, yeah that could be done pretty easily, I had an idea once for WWII style Superion that would've been perfect for that. I just never got around to it, and at this rate I probably never will, but something I'd love to see done.

No problem, you can also use lacquer thinner or acetone, but you have to spray it very wet otherwise it can dry before it even hits the surface. Thanks!
