    I'm not a 100% but that looks an awful lot like the animation style from Transformers Energon :S

    It's..it's the return of BRAVE! Oh heck yes. the animation style is so reminiscent of the original Brave series, it's not even funny! Joy. :3

    If it is, I'm incredibly happy about that. The cut scenes in Energon that were animated were incredible. Gonzo I think was the animation company if I'm not mistaken.

    Curious that they decided to go with Generic 90's Anime look rather than at least attempt to wonder what a cell style version of Prime Humans might look like.

    That might have made for a more interesting visual experiment.

    Well the japanese do love their traditional legacy anime. Its why you still see merchandise for the 70s mobile suit gundam stuff everywhere and high end collectibles of mazinger and Raideen. So takara tomy is possibly hoping to hook people on fan service with this brave/Victory style mix.
    Though in my head. I like to think takara tomys transformers team was given more freedom on arms micron, and this is the next stage of that freedom, just because they are fans of that brave style.

    Transformers is mainly about the robots. If you wanna throw us a moe fanservice bone, Takara, do it in the form of cute girl Transformers. :3

    Thunderblast was a step in the right direction, but she could so with some more "kawaii".

    i hope this has a higher budget animation unlike Superlink/ Energon who's robot character faces can't fuck damn change expressions for dramatic effect, also please pick a well known director & story writer who once did some popular anime too
