I still have no interest in seeing the movie, but if any of the toys are designed well, some of these characters could be tempting. Will just have to wait and see. I'm kind of curious to see how Grimlock and Swoop will turn out.

Assuming these rumors are true anyways...

 

I THINK we are all forgetting something important here,,, MICHAEL BAY. Remember when we found out that Shockwave would be the "main villain"? Remember when starscream only got ONE (or two?) lines in the first movie? Remember Megan Fox? Remember how the first two movie were more "Teen love" than transformers? Remember Devastator?

Here is how its gonna play out, Mark with his "daughter" and boyfriend, some cheesy bullshit in between about "NO YOU CANT DATE MY LITTLE PRINCESS!", boyfriend proving himself worthy. The dinobots will do something sex related. Drift will get one line. Lockdown will die faster than shockwave, Galvatron will escape, and the rest of the movie: BUMBLEBEE, BUMBLEBEE, OPTIMUS PRIME AAAAAND (wait for it)........ EXPLOSIONS!!!!!!!!

AND there you have it folks!! Bay4mers in IMAX 3D!!!

 

Is it really that fair to assume you know what's going to happen before the film even comes out?

 

Good to see that the movieverse is as divisive as ever after my 2 year absence haha.

 

We had three movies to familiarize ourselves with Bay's style and what to expect from it. Yes, it's fair.

 

While I tend to agree that we aren't going to see too big of a shift, I don't think it's completely hopeless to expect that a complete change of human cast, a purposefully separate story and a shorter running time might add up to something better than the last 2 films. Pain and Gain really was not bad and Bay and Wahlberg clearly work well together.

I do feel sorry for the young woman who's playing Wahlberg's daughter though. She's like what, 19, 20? Bay's gonna eat her alive.

 

Who cares! There's gonna be a new transformers movie, whiny nerd rage, new robots, hot chicks, cheesy plot lines, new toys! We all know this. Kinda makes me miss the days before the Internet (yes, I'm old) and you knew "x" movie was coming out when the previews hit, you were just excited that a movie was coming...Kills me that people already "aren't interested in seeing it", "bay lies", "stupid designs".
Damn guys. Relax. Just enjoy that the fandom we love is going to live on a few more years thanks to the success (yes, as bad as it kills some of you) of the movies. It allows Hasbro the luxury of producing more product for us to bitch about.

If Dinobots, Galvatron, Hound and maybe Prowl and Smokescreen if possible are in the movie and made into toys I wouldn't ask for anymore.

Dinobots seems too good to be true. I hope they don't butcher the aesthetics too badly. I hope the "samurai-bot" is Bludgeon and not Drift... I'd hate for there to be a potential to make my favorite comic character look bad... and if it is Drift... PLEASE make him look good and decent to his comic-counterpart.
Also... umm, I'm waiting on a Dino/Mirage figure.. Anyways... expecting the worst, hoping for the best.

I seriously doubt that those humors are true, isn't it a little early for all those things to be known?

Besides even if they are true we know for a fact that Bay uses fake names for characters in early production. Some early TF2 or TF3 papers refered to a character in scenes called "ULTRA MAGNUS" and we've seen concept art of Shockwave called "Blitzwing".
