Excuse me? Big Deal? It's about damn time they acknowledged who he really was and got him on the road to the main roster, and even with a good manager. I don't know if WWE has been holding down the second and third generation talent they have now for so long to let them develop or keep on pushing the past away as they forge further into the children's era.

Either way, I know I can't speak for anyone but myself but I have found it insulting how Rhodes and Henning have been misused over the last few years. If the Rock and Orton got this kind of treatment as multi-generational stars when they started, the WWE would not be same today.

    Big deal....

Oh man, that 6 man tag. Being able to call every shield move 5 seconds in advance. It's so predictable. Also kicking out of a tree of woe dropkick at 1, and people call cena superman lol guys don't have a clue.

Eh I think it's good timing. Axel(I don't have to type McGillicutty anymore!) sucked at first. Then he got pretty damn good in the past year. But yeah, Rhodes is criminally underused.

Axel looks like he hasn't hit the gym since the last time I've seen him on Raw, but that music is AMAZING. I legit got goosebumps when it played. Kudos to WWE for that one, and with his talent, I hope this is Hennig's breakout moment.

You do realize Cesaro is one of these "indiiiiieeess" guys too right? As are Punk and Bryans. Some of the most popular guys on the roster. The reason they're popular is because they're great in the ring, good on the mic and always put on a good show. After seeing some of the matches Bryan Daniels and Tyler black had back in the day, I can only hope that one day Daniel Bryans and Seth Rollins will be allowed to put on matches of the same quality. Having more indy guys in the spotlight means we'll get far more interesting matches and far less of the traditional WWE "five moves of doom" filled fights with super giants everyone loathes so much.

The most obvious example of this is within the Shield itself, Rollins and Ambrose are easily the most interesting ones to watch in the ring and on the mic while Reigns is the boring, one note muscle guy. While the former two made their way and their names through the Indies, rising up all on their own, the latter is a completely home grown WWE worker.

I missed the music earlier if they played it, that was damned awesome. He has the look and the plenty of potential, I hope to see him go far!

Well I missed the first 20 minutes, but aside from shield and Orton wins lol this has been a pretty solid episode.

Oh I'm well aware of that, but none of those guys get the colossal levels of Dick sucking that ambrose gets, and frankly its hard to see why. For all the claims that he is one of the best talkers in the biz I'm sure as hell not seeing it. He's a decent performer but wow is he nothing special on the mic. Unless I'm missing something. He isn't ryback but he sure as hell isn't foley either. Seth I'll give you, he's talented, takes some pretty nasty bumps and doesn't really get much time to talk. He also doesn't have people worshipping the very ground he walks on. Reigns is obviously the weakest link, knowing only two moves and being pretty abysmal on the mic, like ryback he is another brought into the main event scene far too fast.

I have nothing against the indies, what I do resent is that people come in and the fans seem to think they should be treated like royalty for what they did elsewhere, or that somehow starting in the indies just makes you better.

That is what I cannot stand.

A fairly watchable Raw last night. I'm looking forward to more of Heyman and Axle- this is a nice combo as a way to bring Axle up to the main roster and give Heyman something to do without Lesnar and Punk around. I'm still wondering if Axle get a count-out victory over HHH.

Hell No vs. Shield drama is building well, with a set-up for Bryan to turn on Kane. Maybe next week, Kane will be the one full of rage over their loss. Either way, It's a storyline I'm actually interested in.

Y'all Shieldhaters can just think about all the lame ways WWE has failed to elevate talent in the past, and are actually succeeding this time around. It is similar to the Nexus angle, but with the distinction of featuring good matches, and (to this point) no leader-figure that's going to blow the whole thing up. I'm more disappointed in Ryback's elevation to the top than the route they've taken with The Shield. They're believable, at this point in their careers, as a US title holder and the tag champs. Ryback as the WWE champ? Not so much.

Really enjoyed Raw for the most part.

Good to see Henning getting a shot and hotdamn that music is awesome. Not so sure about the name though and its ridiculous that they made the end of the show all about HHH being unfit rather then the fact that Axel just hung with him when they are trying to get the latter over as a new player.

The six man tag was wicked, better then anything on ER and probably one of the best TV matches of the year so far IMO.

LMAO Fandango, wonder if the dude he knocked over on the way out was a legit accident or a plant. Hated Barrett's new music and he needs to get his gangster coat back.

Decent enough promo from Ryback. Made a change from the usual opening routines of smug superfaces, general managers and tag team booking playa. Got a laugh out of him calling the crowd fat when it was soon followed by a fast food shill using audience members.

E getting a win over ADR and Titus having a decent showing against Sheamus were both welcome. Can't complain about Rhodes winning either, even if it was just against Ryder.

LOL Layla enjoying her tap out a bit too much.

    My thoughts on RAW

-Ryback's promo skills was quite good, IMO. I really don't want him to be WWE champ, but I can see him as World champ. Maybe after he lose the Cena feud, he does a lateral jump and go after the World title.

-Miz/Jericho vs Barrett/Fantango. This could have jumpstarted a Jericho/Barrett IC title feud, but it looks like maybe a pissed off Barrett taking on Fantango and Fantango winning the belt. I thought Fantango would end up with a belt, but I thought it would be the US title. I hope I'm wrong.

-Titus vs Sheamus. I really like how JBL and the crew were talking about Titus. But we knew he was gonna lose. But Titus may have a bright future.

-Curtis Axel. Should have shaved the beard because beards means repackage. The name sounds weird to me. Maybe because to me, Axel is a first name. Axel Rose. Axel Foley. I would have named him Axel Perfect.

-Big E vs Alberto. I think Alberto/Swagger/Ziggler is done after the next Alberto/Ziggler match. So who's next for Zig? Answer's right here, Big E.

-AJ vs Layla. All I remember is Layla tapping out by spanking AJ's ass and grabbing it too and the camera man was in the perfect spot to catch it.

-Cody vs Zack. Hey, Cody won!!

-Hell No/Kingston vs Shield. Are they setting up a Hell No break up? They imply that Bryan is the weak link and it's Kane that ate the pin.

-Swagger/Orton. Where do both these guys go from here?

-Axel/HHH. HHH should have done that dizzy spell thing in the ring, and have Axel steal a pin.

Omegatron I know you know better, you know as well as I do it will be Ambrose who eventually kills the shield. It's painfully obvious.

Wonder if it is no small coincidence that the guy is gone and the raw following was suddenly 3 times better than the one before..

Previous dude gets fired for not getting wresting and not talking to talent.
This dude gets fired for not getting wrestling, but he at least talked to talent

Maybe this is crazy talk, but it might work if they hire somebody that talks to talent AND knows about wrestling. Paul Heyman or Dutch Mantel would be great for the job, where are they working thesedays?

I would love to see the following people hired or retained as bookers/creative/talent relations, in no particular order
    Steve Austin
    Mick Foley
    Dusty Rhodes
    Terry Funk
    Arn Anderson
    DDP
    Glen Jacobs
    Mark Calloway

It may be too many chiefs, I am not sure, but talk about a collection of people with a true mind for the business AND how to deal with talent.
