Hi Everyone, This She-bop, yet another character I modeled for my Viacon Universe. She is loosely based on another character. Since posting my first fembot design on the Radicons, I've received quite a few requests for this particular homage. I'm actually surprised how popular the character is. However, up until recently, for some reason or another, I was rather reluctant to model her, but I'm happy to say I did. She was actually pretty interesting to re-imagine. I wanted something different while still maintaining her overall silhouette. I'm rather pleased with the outcome. I hope you like her. If you'd like to see more of my work and a 3D Rotation of the model please click here: Tecrom Designs | Facebook If you enjoy what you see please "LIKE" me. She-bop Head Only: She-bop For TFP RID RC R by TecromDesigns on Shapeways GUITAR: Metal Head guitar Ver 1 by TecromDesigns on Shapeways I-ROC may be used with the TF Prime RID Arcee if you so choose. The head if used with the figure does not affect transformation and "does not" require any glue or screws. The model pictured below was printed in FROSTED ULTRA DETAIL. Questions and comments on the design or bio are welcome. Cheers!! Tecrom If you're unfamiliar with my threads, my goal is to create a new Universe called "THE VIACONS." Here's the log line. “The VIACONS are a long lived race of techno-organic beings that reside on the sentient world of VIACON 1. Recently emerging from a millennia long war that decimated much of their population and leveled their once great cities-the Viacons seek to rebuild their Empire and restore it to its former glory. During the Great Viaconian Wars, much of their population were scattered across the quadrant, existing in small pockets of lawless outposts throughout the system. In the new order, the Viacon Republic and its Senate, have sought to reunite all Viaconians back into the fold. However, an ancient enemy, long thought extinct and only spoken of in myth, has made a silent return. Cloaked in secrecy, the Tecrom have infiltrated parts of the Senate and have begun undermining the foundation of its rule. The few who are aware of the threat have formed a clandestine resistance-systematically recruiting into their ranks, those who posses unique qualities that will aid them in their struggle to expose and ultimately drive out the Tecrom." NAME: She-bop AFFILIATION: INTERGALACTIC ROCK BAND "OPTIC CRUSH" POSITION: MUSICIAN/KEYTARIST She-bop's BIO: This week on “BEHIND THE BAND,”- the story of She-bop, the sultry vixen of intergalactic super group “OPTIC CRUSH.” She-bop never intended to be an interstellar sex symbol. She was content with working at Mech-Donald’s, a fast food chain on her home planet of Oren Prime. Back then, she was an innocent fembot making an honest credit, slowly paying her way through chrome-a-tology school, when she was discovered by, Last Choice, the top modeling agency of her local super mall. Initially, she didn’t have much success in the industry, rarely booking modeling gigs in local recycling ads, auto shows and low rider magazines. It wasn’t until she entered and won the first ever Spokesmodel competition on Star Quest, that her career warped into high gear. No one had ever received four stars on the highly televised talent show and obstacle course. Soon she was the new “it” girl and every agent came knocking. Within a cycle, she was jet setting with the elite- traveling to all the posh locations of the quadrant with the upper crust of Viacon society. Eventually She-bop caught the eye of Colonel Plato, the savvy manager of the then unknown musical trio, “The New Eighties,” a tone deaf boy band, formed by infamously delinquent brothers, I-ROC and Metal Head and their near sighted idiot savant happy go lucky, drummer, Backbeat. At the time the band was about to cut their first album, but Plato insisted they release a music video for their debut single “Last Chance to Open A Disco.” She-bop was tapped for the job. She’d play the promo’s female lead, a muse who falls for a lowly musician trying to open up a roller disco in his home town that has outlawed dancing, but becomes inspired to break the law through her incredible beauty, who just happens to only appear during a full moon on the fifth Sunday of February thirty-first of every leap year, on magical pink roller-skates. The single was an instant hit. Pretty soon, they were playing packed super malls, full of annoyed shoppers, all across Viacon 1. Eventually, with such relentless brain numbing exposure, some mini-bots became accustomed to their dribble. And in a short decade, they were an overnight success. Finally they were all colonel Plato thought they could be. In time, they would almost sell out medium sized banquet halls, performing mediocre classics like, "Don’t stop misbehaving’," to screaming teeny-bot-ers. However, with critics touting She-bop as the reason for the band’s commercial success, Plato thought it best to bring her on board. Without the band’s consent, She-bop was asked to join the band. She agreed and the band was renamed "OPTIC CRUSH." And through a unanimous decision of one, the band decided to go from Bubble-gum pop to Hardcore Stadium Rock in one fail swoop. With no musical training to speak of, She-bop was made to fake her abilities by playing complex musical instruments, like the wind harp and cow bell, to throw off critics, all the while flaunting her chrome plated bushings. However, she eventually grew tired of the ruse and taught herself the most difficult instrument known to science-the double decker wireless keytar. Finally, in her optics, she cemented her place on the band and elevated “Optic Crush” to the Rock Legend they are today. It is doubtful that the band would have achieved any success, much less superstardom, if not for She-bop’s amazing curves, mad skills on the keytar and her magical pink roller skates. To countless adoring fans, including this humble reporter, she will forever be known as the super sultry vixen of OPTIC CRUSH. BEHIND THE BAND UPDATE: She-bop, Metal Head and Backbeat have gone into hiding after the recent lip sync scandal of their hit single “Girl who’s gonna miss U.” I-ROC is set to appear on ION Entertainment to discuss the band's most recent lip sync scandal. at least he keeps the Arcee sales up. i think id get this if they ever release a beast hunters arcee. and they used same mold so i could easily head swap. i just need to be gentile as the plastic can break if you man handle it too much as i sadly learned.
Thank you everyone for the kind words. And a special thanks to those who ordered the model. I'm very happy I could help fill that one missing piece in some of your Junkion collection. I really love that TF Prime rid mold and I just wish Hasbro would make more fembots look that good. Crossing my fingers for the BH Arcee. Thanks again everyone!!
How the heck did I miss this? TOTALLY BOUGHT!!! I absolutely love your work man. Are you gonna finish off the other G1 fembots? Maybe a Moonracer and Nightbird homage.. If not, do you take commissions?
Hi, Thanks for the support man. If there's more interest in fembots I would like to. But I should really divide my time between male TFs and my Monster project. I was also thinking about doing something with the Grimmwing. Like my version of a Beast Wars Springer. What do you think? With regards to your commission. I really wanted to take on organic models, but go a head and pm me. Thanks -Tecrom
Did you get a chance to take a look at the pm I sent u? I know you have a limited time in between projects.
I love this. I just wish Hasbro would give us more color options from that Arcee mold. If I find one, I'll probably use this on the Beast Hunters Arcee.
Thanks man. I'm a fan of your work too. Love the TF/Joe CROSSOVER stuff you do. You really manage to merge both genres perfectly. You have a gift bro. Yeah, the FUD is the best with regards to cost and detail-especially for these kits. Ideal for heads but not the best for mechanical parts, as its not as sturdy as the WSF materials. It has almost a crystalline feel and look to it. You should try it sometime. A lot of folks swear by it. No, unfortunately. The model is kind of specific The RID and FE versions are very different. The cavity that enclosed the FE head, is very small and the neck joint sits rather high. From my experience, the FE doesn't lend itself too well for add-on heads. Sorry.
The world needs more fembots!!!!! A "Firestar Homage" would be grand but l think if done for the GEN Orion Pax mold its smaller stature and aesthetic may end up being more complimentary to the upcoming fembots.
