    Hasbro Metro.

No need to pay double for some chrome and an extra gun IMHO.

I'll just be sticking to the retail Hasbro version. But like others have said, if I were in the OP's situation I'd definitely just spend the extra money to get the Takara version.

I wonder from which store you are going to buy :rolleyes2

But I am pondering about the same question. Since preordering is still going on, I'll wait to get an actual image of the Takara version and then decide. The 30 Euro difference wouldn't make me buy the Hasbro version if the Takara one looks nicer.

Regarding the lower prices someone mentioned, you also have to factor in customs and sales tax in Germany - which has to be paid for the toy and the shipping costs. This makes it much more expensive to actually import figures.

I'd advise going with Takara as you get better paint apps, chrome, and a second gun for only 30 EUR more whereas in the US, it's either 100-130 for Hasbro or double that for one with two guns. Unfortunately I'm getting Hasbro Metro and will be searching for the Takara second gun on ebay or here

It would be nice to see a picture of the two of them next to each other. Unfortunately we seem to be getting pictures of everything else but that.

will wait and see what Takaratomy does to their FOC Metroplex. Then a decision will be made on which one.

with the size of this F'ing thing, Ima buy 2 Hasbro versions so I can custom paint one to my heart's content and making it look better than Takara (hopefully) w/o the chrome...I mean, come on, how can I mess up the paint with something like this, right? lol

Hasbro. Not paying double for an extra gun. If I want a extra gun, I'll just buy another Hasbro version. Get the 2nd gun and a whole extra Metroplex. Plus it helps Hasbro decide on making more giant sized figures in the future.

I ordered mine from HLJ yesterday for 15200 yen which works out to $149.58 under the current conversion. That seems like a pretty decent price for something that is so large. Heck I was paying $100 a piece for the Hercules figures when they came out. I'm sure that shipping won't be pretty but oh well. I think it is important to factor in what the piece will be worth down the road. The Takara version will build value more than the Hasbro.

I'll get the less expensive Hasbro version. Why isn't there a poll for this thread?
