This probably isn't news to you guys but I am almost through Season 2 now and it has supplanted Beast Wars as my favorite series. Holy crap.

I dont get Hub so Im slowly cathing up on Netflix. I wish I had been able to watch from the beginning!

For the record, I'm an "original fan" (34 years ancient) and I'm a pretty harsh critic of modern cartoons.  

So the big question: Does season 3 maintain the same level of quality?

 

Personally feel Season 3 is a lot like Season 2 in quality but I felt Season 2 dropped the ball a lot after the awesome lead-in from Season 1.

 

I think season three is doing better in quality than season two, and I liked both the previous seasons. Of course for me the series is still great fun to watch.

 

I do consider Transformers: Prime to be the best cartoon on television right now. I'm still up in the air as to whether it has become my favorite Transformers cartoon of all time. I'm definitely gonna miss the show once it comes to an end after this season. With Young Justice, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and Prime all coming to an end, Nickelodeon's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is the only action cartoon that I'm gonna have left to watch. :-(

 

S3 is way better than S1 or S2 for me so far. It's only been 4 episodes, but it's felt more like a movie than a show. The last 3 of S2 and the first 4 of S3 are my favorite arc of the series.

Season 3 is a ok for me. Season 1 was a bit boring but quite intriguing as it went on. Im pretty sure that it's safe for me to say that some of us became tired of the relic hunt for season 2. It was good but it just became stale for me at a certain point.

 

S2 was a train wreck, and while season 3 isn't amazing, it is an improvement in areas.

 

Season 2 is mediocre. Season 3 is so far good.

Glad you liked it, but season two killed the series for me. I know I'm going to get blasted by the pro Prime fans, but I see it as a modern Energon. All that hope I had early on from the series just collapsed during that season.

Its shocking how the series before was so full of energy, character development, and great stories, to this. Its like going from Beast Wars to Energon to me.

 

Season 3's premiere so far was better than the Season 2 premiere so if you liked that you are sure to have a blast with it!

But be warned, it has just begun, so it WILL take a while until you can watch it on Netflix, assuming that is what you are using exclusively.

 

Season 3 so far has been great. While season 2 was a tad repetitive, there were still plenty of good episodes (for me). Yes, I'd say 3 is a step up.

 

I love season 3 so far. Better animation, more refferances to past series, Mor bot time, and more action. Whats not to like? People just enjoy being haters. lol

 

I don't think people are in a position to judge season 3 based on the first 4 episodes because those episodes were made in that "epic" way to conclude the events of season 2. I don't see these episodes as a taste of what the entire season will be like.

Personally I feel let down by this show. There was a lot of potential that wasn't realised and I think the meaning of the show hasn't even been addressed properly and clearly. It started yoff great but it's not making me excited anymore. Armada is still my favourite series.

 

I think Darkness Rising was the best part. And now Predacons Rising (first three eps of s3) was great. Last part of season 2 was good as well. I for one think that they have too many wasted potential on the show. Good ideas which get thrown away 2 or 3 episodes later. But we have the minicon-hu.. err relic-hunt...

Season 1 and 3 are still better, some episodes in season 2 were fine though.

 

Dont' know why you could enjoy this show of wasted poteintal after it you know betreayed and told lies to it's fans but ok.
