They lost me at translucent.



Hopefully the next three Terrorcons won't be hard to find at retail.

What gives with the derpy looking growl/grin on Abominus' box art? I can't stop looking at it.

Eww. I like most of these little guys, but if I were to ever pick them up, I'd go with the regular retail versions - those look much better in my opinion.

I just wish there was a version of Hun-Grr that had his colors inversed (and maybe a tad more pink too,so he looks better as Abominus, I can live that I'd then have an inverses Hun-Grr). That, and the combiner mode's headsculpt are the only two things bugging me - he's pure joy.

 

The clear plastic ensures I wont be getting this set.

No word yet, but I'm guessing $21-30 dollars given how many figures are in the set and what regular cyberverse goes for these days.

It's like he stepped on a nail and is too stupid too figure out what he's supposed to do so he just stands there in pain like a dimwit. I love it  

I have to say this is kind of like a half-assed G2 deco that half way through they said screw it and just made things translucent. Which in a weird way I actually like. The disinterest though leaves me hopeful I won't have to pay full price for him which is always a plus in my books.  

That box though. Just so much wasted space for box art. Really Hasbro? It's a nice piece of art, but you couldn't shrink it to be a little less wasteful. Oy.

Are any of these more G1 accurate than the separate-release ones? Not that G1 accuracy really matters to me in this came, just curious.

I already have Twinstrike, so I'm thinking I'll just get them separately anyway.

 

They're only vaguely G1 accurate molds to begin with. None of the originals had any clear plastic in them, so I guess these would be less?

 

I love these and will be getting them though the light blue seems out of place here. And why didn't Hun-Grrrr get the translucent treatment?

Any new or recolored versions of these guys will be difficult for me to pass up!

The smaller sized Terrorcons have grown on me since acquiring them last week. I picture them swarming over unsuspecting Autobots to overwhelm them then combing for the kill.

edit: nvmd, I see Hun-Grrr has clear red plastic

 

If I see this set hit clearance, I'll buy it. Otherwise, I'm sticking with the retail releases.

 

Like I said... I'll wait for the Takara set with g1 colors and no translucent crap!

 

No one said Takara's release will be more G1 color accurate...

since we got a mini abominus and they are all dragons does anyone else think that there is a slight chance we'll get a mini predaking or a mini dinoking?

 

Seeing that already they've made a TF: P Predaking and atm TF: P figs are their main focus, highly doubtful on mini-gestalt team predacons/Predaking combiner.
