Totally agree. Even though Ive never been pregnant or given birth myself so its not like im defending my ego. Just basucally I saw mommies with better bods than some virgins. Just sayin to bust a stereotype.
Well, I've also seen a ton of posts on mommy-forums from women whinging on about getting their pre-baby bodies back, and you often tell which stars had kids on those 'shocker' gossip rags (when they show the unaltered unairbrushed bikini photos) because their stomachs look 'poochy.' And I'm not being judgmental, I'm just being honest. There might be some women who get their bodies back, but often I seen it that many don't, and unless I could see before and after (and unaltered) photos of Ms. Fox, for all I know she is one of the ones that don't. Irregardless of her keeping a good figure or not, I am still glad that she isn't going to be in TF4. She never had a nice personality off the set, she ended up trying too hard to 'brag' on her many exploits, and she seemed to shoot her mouth off too much. As soon as she opened her mouth and proved she was a fool, I never liked her.
Jennifer's Body, Jonah Hex... umm... yeah... she's toxic. Doubtful... other than the 2003 TMNT finale, no one has gone back to the horrific 80's cartoon. It'll be based more on the graphic novels and original b&w comics. No. People misunderstood Bay... TMNT were mutated by a gelatinous ooze collected by aliens (Utroms) salvaging their damaged space craft, and moving the material to their research building, a front called TCRI. one of the canisters fell out of a truck, struck a child's bowl of baby turtles, and the whole kaboodle fell down the sewers on top of splinter, a regular rat, foraging in the sewers, after his cage was broken when Shredder killed his owner (Hamato Yoshi) in revenge for killing his (the shredder's) nasty rapist of an older brother.
I dunno - they were both passable movies if you just wanted to turn your brain off and watch something with a killer zombie girl thing and a bounty hunter that could talk to the dead. The kind of movies they were meant they were never going to be box office giants or become cult classics. I certainly wouldn't put all the blame on Megan Fox. She was barely in Jonah Hex. I think the problem with Fox is so far no director has ever properly worked her (ooer). She needs to take a crack at a properly demanding role under a good director and then see how she turns out. She might still end up being underwhelming, but at least then we can lay the blame squarely on her rather than the roles she's done so far.
I liked her in the TF movies and don't really get why ppl hate on her. Can't say anything bad about her performence as an actress in those movies, when she was directed to look hot, she pulled it off, when Bay told her to look afraid when she and Shia was hideing in the ruins in Rotf she looked afraid, when he told her to panic when Shia "Died" she did it...And that's somehow bad? I just don't get it... looks to me that ppl wheren't satisfied the movies and somehow that's her fault...Like Leo was annoying, Optimus was crazy, Jetfire was an old dude with fart problems, ravage had one eye, Ratchet wasn't white and red ect
No, Bay's original script was leaked a while ago and it revealed that the turtles in the film came from another dimension where the weren't really brothers , mutants or turtles at all but inter-dimensional aliens selected to be sent into our dimension and trained as warriors by Splinter (also from the dimension) to stop Kraang (also from the dimension). The script's being entirely rewritten though, thank god. But I will admit the movie seemed pretty good up until the "big reveal" of them being inter-dimensional aliens and not mutant turtles. There's a differences between acting and good acting and Megan Fox is definitely is not a good actor.
Bay didn't hire her so that we would be taken by her lines, he hired her so that we would be taken by her curves. The model who played Carly didn't get the role cause she is a better actress than Megan she got it cause when Bay saw her he got a "boner". I haven't seen Megan in a heavy drama where she had to put her acting skills to the test, her actually haveing the integrity to give Bay the middle finger proves that she ain't all body and no brains. I'm not saying that she is my favorit actress or that her acting was on a elite level, only that her role didn't demand it, she was casted for a reason and was a rookie when she did the first movie, she had to lean alot on Shia because he had alot more experience than her and that was before he did Indiana Jones and Wallstreet. She started acting in 2001, Shia had an acting role in 1984 and 1998 is when his career took of, buy the time he met Megan on the set of Transformers he had been in a bunch of diffrent projects, stuff like the X-files, ER, I Robot, Constantine and Charlies Angels. While Megan biggest role was as the danceing bikini kid in the waterfall in Bad Boys 2, an uncredited role I might ad. So give the girl a break, it ain't like she was an award winning actress when she was casted to do Transformers. Her part didn't need to be filled by a good actress, only a good looking one.
I think the main reason why I don't like Megan overall is because of her offstage personality. It's just not nice. On some of her interviews she tired to come off as 'shocking' by bragging about how she slept with Shia, and how she was bisexual, and I'm thinking, "Why the hell she needing to say all this stuff?" It wasn't necessary and just made her look like a tryhard. That's why I hate her so.
Man, for a producer he's really doing a lot of work on this picture. First he's directing, now he's writing it too? Busy busy man.
I think that's the case with most ppl but u seem have gave it some thought why you don't like her. As many ppl I felt a little let down with Bays TF movies, didn't like the designs on some bots, the personality on others and bot farts don't make me giggle like a 5 year old child but Megans acting was never a real issue with me. Not even Leos, I got a feeling that him being annoying wasn't an accident.
Which is true, it's not a knee jerk reaction to her. I have tolerated many a shoddy actor in B-grade movies before, and I don't remember too many making me abjectly annoyed with them. I know they tried, and likely they were grateful for any role they could get. But her? She's arrogant. She struts around like she's somebody, and opens her mouth too wide. It's like when some of these stars become famous and gain big money, they get stupid. These kind are the ones the makeup artists and backstage handlers dread, and the ones you see dead of a cocaine overdose in 5-10 years. If she was pretty inside I could overlook her crap acting, but she isn't. If she was I could tolerate Bay's tedious panning panty shots of her, instead of thinking about (if I get the movie) of fast forwarding through them.
Not to mention that movie she did with Mickey Rourke and Bill Murray that actually ended up going straight to DVD.
True, my wording's unsatisfactory, but I didn't mean it as his writing. Whoever wrote it is also irrelevant to the post, as I was just explaining what they meant by "aliens" in regard to the script, but thank you for taking the time to point out my mistake.
