I think the chrome looks decent, and plays up to my geewun nostalgia. What I really want is just something to break up all that white and maybe obfuscate the length of the legs a bit.

The robot mode looks terrible. You can tell they skimped on the paint and articulation.

Pass for me. Something that big has to blow me away with articulation and gimmicks.
$125 isn't even that expensive for an adult toy. I'd rather use that money to get two MP pre-orders.

They seem to be banking on the fact that Americans will shell out cash for anything "big". Wheres the quality though?

 

His battle station mode looks like he fell over drunk and passed out, probably whilst being sick into his lap.
Still, I'll probably buy it just to have him stand in the corne of the living room and annoy my girlfriend.

 

Thats the grin of a kid who has it in his contract that he gets to take samples home with him after the photoshoot is over.

 

I'm so gonna do a size comparison with WST ravage when I get this guy.

 

I see stickers and the hand does not even hide. And that head transformation... Looks disappointing. I still hope this would turn out okay.

 

I imagine the head will look better transformed with a Cyberverse figure manning it - it does turn into a turret, after all. With someone actually on the turret it'll probably look better.

 

No Hasbro kept the kid.

 

I'd like to see a city mode picture that actually shows the helipad in a usable orientation.

Wow, the robotmode really is all legs and very little torso.

 

Having Obama Jr next to Metroplex gives us a good idea how big it's going to be.

 

Given the recent shortcuts that have been taken on recent figures, I'm glad to see that the legs ARE all legs  

 

Scamper looks rather embarrassed.

 

It lacks mass and bulk : ( . Its either its torso is really short or its legs are really long but then again it is HUGE! I hope the plastic does not feel cheap or heck hallow too much.

 

I love how they put a kid in the picture to make it look bigger even though it will be adult collectors buying this thing. Oh and nice attempt at diversity matters Hasbro.

I'm having a hard time debating since I can only afford one expensive toy this year that either I get metroplex or masterpiece soundwave. I'm really on the fence about the decision. any suggestions?

 

I will get MP soundwave if i were you,am soundwave lover but to each his own.
